I at descriptions >_<

Anyway, this fic is about the Kwon twins.

In this fic, BigBang will be just a group that Jiyong produces songs for. Dong Youngbae, Choi Seunghyun, Kang Daesung, and Lee Seungri will be normal characters in this fic, and not as members of BigBang.

Foreword

"Please have a seat, Mr. and Mrs. Kwon." a middle-aged woman said to the young couple that entered her office.

She was very pleased to have a couple ready to adopt one of the children in her orphanage. The place was getting crowded lately with new orphans, and the more children got adopted the better for her peace of mind.

"So, you want to adopt a boy from our orphanage, right?"

"That's right, Mrs. Park." Mr. Kwon nodded, smiling lovingly at his beautiful wife.

"Alright, how old do you want the boy to be?" Mrs. Park asked.

"Since our 6-year-old son wants a younger brother, it will be great if the boy is 4 years old." answered Mrs. Kwon.

"Good!" said Mrs. Park as she went through a record in her hands. "We have seven boys aged 4. I'll send my assistant to show you each kid, and once you decide who you want to adopt. We can go through the regular procedures for adoption." she explained before calling for her assistant.

The Kwons were led to the playground where orphans under twelve were playing and jumping around. The orphanage had a policy of separating the  youngsters from adolescents. Mrs. Park's assistant talked about each 4-year-old child thoroughly, mentioning their names, birth parents, the reason they ended up in the orphanage, and even a brief description of their personalities. The Kwons really adored the children, but they still couldn't make a decision. They didn't feel drawn to any of the seven kids, and they were pretty sure their precious son wouldn't get along with any of them.

"And that's all for the kids you wanted to see," said the assistant closing the file in her hands.

"Yeah, thank you for your time" Mr. Kwon said politely. "What do you think, honey?" he turned to his wife, who was gazing at a small kid talking to the air next to him.

"What about him?" instead, she asked the assistant pointing at the small kid.

"Oh! That's Kwon Youngdeuk. He's five years old, though!"

"What is he doing?" Mrs. Kwon frowned, still looking at the small kid.

"He's been like that since he lost his twin brother four months ago. He will go to that spot and talk as if his twin is there," said the assistant.

"Where's his twin now?" asked Mr. Kwon.

"Nobody knows what happened to him. Youngdeuk was brought here by the police after his parents died in a car accident. The other twin was never found."

"Poor kid. He must be going through a lot without his twin." Mrs. Kwon said sadly. She felt her heart break for the little kid.

"I asked him once if he misses his twin brother, but he declined saying that he talks to him all the time and that's enough for him to know his twin is still alive. It's really weird, but a therapist who examined him said that it's pretty normal for identical twins to have some form of telepathy with each other, even if it's just imaginary." explained the assistant.

"And how is his relationship with the other kids?" asked Mr. Kwon.

"A very good one. He gets along with them so well, and most kids like him here. He's also nice and very obedient"

"Honey.. let's take him. I like him a lot, and I'm sure Jiyong will like him too." said Mrs. Kwon eagerly. She already fell for the little boy once she set her eyes on him.

"Okay, I like him too!" agreed Mr. Kwon.

"Then, we can start the procedures of adoption right away. Youngdeuk will be happy to have a new family" said the assistant.

Two weeks after Youngdeuk came to live with the Kwons, he became inseparable from Jiyong. They spent most of their time together, playing games, chatting, laughing, and even doing their homework together.

Two months after Youngdeuk's arrival, he stopped talking to his imaginary twin, and by the time he spent a year with the Kwons, he no longer remembered having a twin. Mrs. Kwon once asked him if he still talked to Youngdon, but he was confused who could that be. Getting worried about her youngest son, she took him to his regular therapist, who simply said that either Youngdeuk had found Jiyong as a gap-filling mate in his twin's place, or the twin was no longer in this world. From that day on, Mr and Mrs. Kwon never mentioned Youngdon to Youngdeuk, and decided to forget he ever existed because they wanted Youngdeuk to live a normal life like Jiyong.

Years passed by, and both Jiyong and Youngdeuk grew up like real brothers. They became very dependent on each other, especially when they discovered their common interest in music. Jiyong had grown into a genius producer. He was only 17 when he produced a hit song for the rookie group BigBang. Youngdeuk, on the other hand, had grown into a great dancer. He won a lot of regional and national competitions, and he wants to become a successful choreographer in the future.

This is how Youngdeuk was leading a carefree happy life with the Kwons until he met an accident that turned his life upside down..
