Description

When Baekhyun arrives home from China with his band members it’s to two e-mails. One says that nothing is wrong with his blood test and that he’s a healthy, young man. The other says that the mole was benign. Baekhyun begs to differ with both of them.

this story is baekhyun-centric. it deals with hypochondria and has a wrong, but obsessive view of somatic diseases just like actual hypochondria.

there will be references to chanyeol's oneshot (I'm Laughing but it's not Laughter) in this story as well, although the focus will be a different one entirely. baekhyun and chanyeol are not a couple, not in love or in any other way romantically involved but if you've read both oneshots you might understand the link between the two. idk.

baekhyun is, as said earlier, a hypochonder, a milder mental disorder but not everything has to be rare and groundbreaking. baekhyun is definitely struggling enough with his hypochondria as is.

Chapter 1: Reading through this I found Baekhyun quite comical especially the way he goes from doctor to doctor and gets increasingly worried about everything. On a serious note, it must be so hard to deal with a condition like his. Baekhyun's mind is a dark place. Imagine your friends and family constantly ignoring your worries and doctors forcing you to die. Ugh! I'd hate everyone.

Chapter 1: I imagined myself in his shoes and how much tired i'd feel everyday. Physically drained from going to hospitals and mentally drained for constantly worrying of my impending death.. Poor Baekhyun :(
