Doing the Right Thing
Golden Quill - The Legacy (GQ2)“What do you think you’re doing?” Kyungsoo nudged the lounger and glared down at the seemingly sleeping girl. He had come here to sort out the contract and here she was sleeping by the indoor pool.
Sana lifted her sunglasses and eyed the heir. He looked angry. He was cute when he was angry. “You’re back?”
“I thought I told you not to use any amenities until you signed that contract.”
“I did sign it.” Sana sounded bored. “I will be your pretend girlfriend or whatever.” She reached into her bag and handed him the contract.
“What’s this?” he demanded and sat on the edge of the lounger and showed her the addition she had made.
“Ah, that’s my fee.”
“Your what?” he snarled, “Listen to me you con artist I am already putting you up in one of my private suites. Do you know how much that would cost you daily?”
“Boring.” Sana pretended to yawn, “Come on you can afford it so why are you being so mean?” she grabbed his arm and yanked on it.
“Don’t touch me.” Kyungsoo shoved her away.
Sana smirked, “Look it’s not every day I get an offer like this. What would people say if they heard the great prim and proper Jung heir was going around making indecent proposals to financially vulnerable girls?”
Kyungsoo had to admit that she impressed him. “Fine.” He pulled the contract back and wrote down a figure. “How’s this?” Sana saw all the zeros and tried to contain her excitement. It was enough to pay off the rest of the year’s university fees and then some. “Do we have a deal?”
Sana held out her hand and he shook it, “We have a deal as soon as you sign.” Kyungsoo shook his head but he signed the document and tucked it into his suit jacket.
“You look smart. Were you at that fundraiser?” he nodded, “I suppose you lost out on an opportunity to make that girl jealous.”
“There will be plenty of time for that.” Kyungsoo stood. “Now that you have signed the contract you may use the hotel’s services but please remember you are my guest. This is not your real home.”
Wow, what a Gringe. Sana didn’t care what he said. While she was staying in the city’s finest hotel she was going to live it up and act like she owned the place. After all no one could touch her now. The guy who owned the place was her benefactor.
“Are you going home now?” she stopped him from leaving.
“Why?”
“I haven’t eaten…have you?”
Kyungsoo considered this girl, “You can order something from room service. I don’t have time for this. Ah wait.” She was suddenly hopeful, “let me have your number.” He handed her his stylish top of the range cell phone. Sana entered her number and handed him back the phone. “Good night.”
Sana watched him leave. What a strange guy. But she was happy now that some of her financial woes were being taken care of.
Sehun arrived home early from the fundraiser. He wanted to speak to Kris before he moved out of the Lee Household and whi
