Grateful
Golden Quill - The Legacy (GQ2)Sung-kyung entered the cafeteria and didn’t see anyone she knew. In the coffee shop, there was no one as well. They were not in the Alpha Clubhouse either. Where were Lee Arran and Jung Minah? Lee Sehun wasn’t in his lab and the members of the Keepers Club didn’t offer her any information on where their leader was. She desperately wanted to speak to them after what had happened on the weekend.
Finally, she went to the basketball court and there was Mr Wu, except he wasn’t practising, he just stood in front of the hoop, a ball in his hands, completely still. Sung-kyung approached and silently took the ball from his hands, “What is it?” she asked concerned, she could tell that something was worrying him.
Kris didn’t acknowledge her, he just stood with a vacant expression on his handsome face. “Master,” he still didn’t respond. Sung-kyung took his hand, he blinked and seemed to notice her for the first time, “Please tell me what is bothering you. We’re in this together right?”
“No,” Kris took her hand and pushed it off his and stepped back, “We’re not in this together.” he turned, forgetting the ball, and her. Sung-kyung rushed forward and threw her arms around his waist,
“You can’t leave me.” She implored of him, “Don’t you understand yet, you’re all I have. You came for me the night of the party, I know you care so why are you saying these things?”
Kris stepped out of her arms, “Go to class Lee Sung-kyung.”
“Why? She cried, “No one is here. There is nothing for me to do. You know why they’re not here. You know everything.
