Our heroine makes a new friend and an enemy. 

“There you are!” Arran smiled brightly at Sung-kyung, “I have been waiting for you to arrive.”

“You have?” Sung-kyung looked around, was the Lee Arran, queen of Oakland and current leader of the Alphas, talking to her?

“Of course silly!” Arran giggled, “I couldn’t wait to meet the beautiful new transfer student who has captured the heart of the dark prince.

“Huh?” Sung-kyung was confused and things were moving too fast, “Will you melt his heart?” Arran continued as she pulled Sung-kyung along the corridor toward their English class. “Are you getting all of this down?” Arran told the small mousy looking girl with the recorder.

“What are you doing?” Sung-kyung demanded.

“Just a story for the school blog. We have an avid readership and subscribers from other schools across the country.”

“Meet Nina,” Arran made quick introductions, “President of the school’s Journalism club.”

“Past members have gone on to work for large national newspapers.” Nina boasted.

“I don’t think I am newsworthy,” Sung-kyung pushed the recorder away.

“I’ll decide on that.” Nina was firm; “besides I am sure everyone is interested in this…” she held up her phone and showed her the pictures of Jongin saving her from the hockey freaks, “I like this one.” She stopped at a picture where Sung-kyung stared into Jongin’s eyes, the picture told a completely different story from the reality.

“Where did you get that?” Sung-kyung tried to snatch the phone away but Nina was too quick, “You can’t use that. He will kill me.”

“Are you talking about our Jongin ssi. Just what is your relationship with the dark prince of Oakland? How did you penetrate the defences? Any tips for other girls out there to get their kingka?”

“Is this for real?”

“You have to get your story out there. Take control of your public image otherwise, it will rule you.” Nina spoke seriously. “This is going to be a great article. A lot of broken hearts.”

“You cannot publish this article.” All she could think of was the look on Jongin’s face and how he would no doubt blame her. “Why would you do this to your own brother?”

“I am helping you silly.” Arran inspected her nails as they walked into class. “From now on, I will be your cupid. See I even have this scrapbook to record your great romanc
