Operation Room
Golden Quill - The Legacy (GQ2)Oracle’s medical centre was brought to life as Yoonah and Kyungsoo were wheeled in and taken to separate operating rooms.
“Yoonah!” Jong-hyun watched as his only child was operated on from behind the glass screen. Beside him, the members of the Consortium watched as well, but they were watching the boy. No one else cared for his daughter. He was all alone in this.
“You need to take care of Lee Taemin.” He heard the blonde haired man tell the woman, who despite her beauty could also pass as a pretty man. “I want him briefed and sent somewhere.”
“But hyung he was protecting us.” The boy Jong-hyun now knew was Gaelin’s eldest son argued.
“Kaiah this is protocol.” The tall blonde-haired man placed a hand on the boy’s shoulder, “don’t worry everything will be taken care of.”
“What does that mean?” Jong-hyun demanded, “that man shot my daughter. I will press charges. You think I am afraid?”
Namjoon turned to him, “Your daughter shot someone too. I also have evidence of numerous other crimes she committed. Do you really want to go down this road with me?”
“Namjoon ssi…” Gaelin shook her head.
“I am sorry President, but best Hong Jong-hyun ssi understands what is happening here and quick. His daughter is a criminal lucky to be receiving care from our top doctors. You understand?” Namjoon really hated this guy. His blood boiled every time he looked at him. The man that had almost stole Song Gaelin from them. He would never forgive him.
Jong-hyun bent his head. She may be a criminal but she is still my daughter he thought. “Yoonah,” he pressed his hands to the glass. “Be strong.”
“Here,” Soo-hyuk came to stand beside him and held out a cup of coffee. “Your daughter is strong.”
“Yes, she is.” Jong-hyun accepted the coffee and took a sip. “A little different from the last drink we shared.”
Soo-hyuk smiled, “Yes,”
“I am sorry for all this.”
“Don’t be. We should have done more for you and Yoonah ssi.”
“No, you did enough. I didn’t want her to be part of this world.”
“Yet she still found her way here,” Soo-hyuk took a sip of his coffee.
“Sinyeo ssi was still angry when she died and she passed that onto Yoonah. All the work I did to give Yoonah a different life was for nothing.”
“You shouldn’t blame yourself.” Soo-hyuk tried to soothe the man.
Jong-hyun glanced sideways at the others, “You have a big family. Four children. Song Gaelin didn’t seem the type.”
“I forced her.” Soo-hyuk admitted, “The more children we had the more she had to stay at my side.”
“I don’t think you needed children to achieve that.” Jong-hyun studied Gaelin, “She hasn’t aged a day. It’s like I am seeing her for the first
