Lover's Quarrel
Golden Quill - The Legacy (GQ2)Kyungsoo had been trying to get hold of Sana for most of the night. He felt terrible for letting things end in a disagreement when he would be travelling the next day. But she refused to take his calls and he didn’t have any of her friend’s numbers. The thought of her out somewhere doing God knows what made his blood boil. He was entering dangerous territory here. He was already in a worse mood because Kris had been glued to his father’s side the whole evening. Julian had made a point of telling him to wipe the axe murderer look off his face.
Kyungsoo sent Sana a message to say he would be stopping by her apartment on his way home. “I think I’m going to head off.” He told the table.
“There’s an extra Lee car here,” Namjoon mentioned. “Who else wants to go with Kyungsoo ssi?”
Kyungsoo shot his friends warning looks, “I’ll come with you.” Sehun said, “I’ll drop you off before going home.”
Miranda saw Sehun leave with Kyungsoo and felt let down. After that intense staring match, she had thought he’d stay and try to strike up a conversation. Wasn’t that how things normally progressed. He had seemed interested too. It wasn’t just a fleeting glance.
“I’m stopping at Sana’s place,” Kyungsoo told Sehun as they left the Club.
“I’m fine with that. I wasn’t really enjoying myself.” Sehun admitted, “I heard you had a fight with Sana ssi?”
“Fighting would mean I actually cared that much to argue.” Kyungsoo snapped.
“Then why are you rushing over there?” Sehun teased his hyung.
“Will you shut it?” Kyungsoo growled but then felt bad, “Sorry Sehunah. I have a lot on my mind at the moment.”
“I know what you mean.” Sehun sighed as they got into the car, “I have been feeling out of it since the incident at the factory.”
“You went through a lot,” Kyungsoo sympathised, “Do you want to talk about it?”
“Maybe, not now though,” Sehun said. He didn’t know how to bring up the incident with the Madame. If the others knew he was in contact with that woman, they wouldn’t understand. Sehun tried to tell himself that he would eventually bring her down. But there was another part of him that wanted to meet her for other reasons.
When they arrived at Sana’s apartment, Sehun stayed in the car while Kyungsoo went up. “She’s not there.” Kyungsoo was in a foul mood. Well, he had been in one the whole evening.
“So now what?” Sehun asked, “Should I take you home?”
“Can you call her? She’s not picking up my calls.” Sehun took the number and tried to call, “Sana ssi?” he met Kyungsoo’s eyes, “Its Lee Sehun…”
“What is she saying?” Kyungsoo motioned for him to hand the phone over.
“It’s very loud…” Sehun covered his free ear, “Where are you?”
Kyungsoo grew impatient and grabbed the phone from Sehun, “Yah! Where are you right now?” Sehun could see the anger on his friend’s face, “What bar?” Kyungsoo’s voice had dropped to a deathly whisper. Sehun would hate to be Sana ssi. “Stay there. I’m on the way.” Kyungsoo handed Sehun his phone and gave the driver another address. “You don’t mind?”
“Nope, this is more fun than sitting at the Club,” Sehun said.
The bar was busy and people stood outside laughing and smoking. Sehun felt a little overdressed in his suit but he could carry any outfit off no matter what the circumstances. No one asked for identification as they passed through the open doors and into the crowded bar. “Nice vibe.” He yelled down at Kyungsoo. They searched one end of the bar and then moved to the opposite side. “There she is.” He spotted Sana dancing by a table.
As they approached, Sehun bowed but Kyungsoo just grabbed Sana’s arm. “Let’s go.”
“Now wait a moment…” a guy objected, “Who the hell are you g
