The airport was crowded. Most airports were but Miranda had never felt this nervous flutter before. “Miranda, the car is waiting. Where would you like to go?”

Miranda slid on her glasses, “Take me the apartment. I want to see how things are getting on.”

“I believe the apartment is ready. The last of your wardrobe arrived yesterday.”

“Good.”

“This is the first time you’ve made such a big move. Are we planning to stay long?”

Miranda smiled as she slid into the sleek luxury car, “A very long time.” she picked up her phone and scrolled through the pictures of the boy. “I have plans that will hopefully keep me here for a very long time.”

“And what of the Madame?” the assistant asked.

“That woman will soon know that I am here. For the time being, I want to settle in.”

“Here is the schedule you asked for and the report on the Madame’s activities. It seems she has been busy.”

“Of course. I wouldn’t expect less from my arch nemesis. Well, she better enjoy life while she still can because there’s a storm coming.”

Miranda closed her eyes and settled back. Seoul, the city was bursting with life and she was going to take a big slice of it.
