“I said stop, Yeol, your stupid jokes are too much.” Sehun rolled his eyes, had had enough of his stupid friend’s stupid jokes. “What kind of bagel can fly?”  But Chanyeol wasn’t one to give up. “…” Sehun tried to act like he’s thinking hard which he really wasn’t. “A plain bagel. Because plane bagel, get it? HAHAHAHAHA.” Sehun really wanted to punch Chanyeol in his face with a chair right then and there but he wouldn’t want to cause trouble in the café. He really needs to be careful when he befriends people next time. Chanyeol’s boisterous laugh was still going on when Eunhyuk, his other colleague came back from the restroom. “Hyung, seriously, Park Chanyeol is too much, I can’t handle his stupid jokes anymore, save me.” Sehun looked over to Eunhyuk, desperate to find someone to save him from Park Chanyeol. Too bad, Eunhyuk only pat his shoulder with a sympathetic ‘sorry, hyung can’t help you’ and went back to his work. 

Exactly in that moment, the door opened and two guys walked in. Sehun and Chanyeol’s heads immediately turned towards the door and oh dear, someone needs to pray for their sanity. Standing there, were two extremely hot guys, one taller and one shorter, but both looked like they came straight out of anime. Eunhyuk took one look at Chanyeol and he snorted, if Sehun and Chanyeol weren’t too busy gaping at the two customers, maybe they’ll hear Eunhyuk muttering something about ‘wipe that dirty smile off your faces eww…’.  Sehun’s ‘target’, a tall and tan guy with a toned body, has him drooling (almost). The guy looked like he just walked out of Sehun’s wettest wet dream, and Eunhyuk was so sure Sehun looked thirsty af. Chanyeol was no better, he looked almost the same as Sehun except he actually looked shy? What the f- ? 

In the meantime, the two hot guys walked towards the counter causing Sehun and Chanyeol to splutter. “One grande sized iced coffee and one grande sized mocha, that will be $6.8.” Two of them get to work after hearing Eunhyuk’s order, of course after taking one last glance at the hot guys. After serving the orders, Chanyeol grabbed Sehun to the side. “Dude, oh my god, that guy’s so hot, like hot hot!” Sehun smirked, never thought Chanyeol’s type will be some guy much shorter than him. “Didn’t know you had a type for guys like that, I always thought you like cuter guys. I doubt he’s any sort of cute.” Sehun commented, looking towards the two hot guys sitting beside the window pane. “I-I hahahahaha y-ya, I guess I kinda like guys who’s manlier.” Chanyeol scratched the back of his neck and Sehun noticed the pink blooming on the other’s cheek. “I think you really like him, your face is so red, like no kidding.” Sehun teased, Chanyeol punched him in the guts. “But really though, both of them are so hot, especially the one with tan skin, he looks like he came straight out of my wet dream.” Sehun couldn’t help but stared at the guy, he really looked so damn hot. This time, is Chanyeol’s time to . “I know you always like guys with piercings dude, but damn, look at him, he has such defined jawline! It looks like it could cut me into half!”Sehun looked at the guy and damn, Chanyeol really didn’t exaggerate, that chiseled jawline is no kidding. “I agree.” Sehun nodded, eyes never left the guy for a second. “Of course you agree, you’re basically ogling.” Chanyeol smirked, and Sehun punched him. The two of them continued ogling at the two hot guys whenever there’s no customer. Eunhyuk could only sigh, well, he already had a boyfriend so he had no interest in that two hot guys. 

It was three days after the baristas saw the two hot guys again. Sehun swore he didn’t count. This time, they finally got to know their names because they’re taking away their coffees instead of enjoying it in the café. Sehun learned that the guy he liked is called Kai and the shorter guy’s called Kyungsoo. Besides that, Sehun and Kai actually made eye contact and Kai even smiled at him. Sehun blushed scarlet while Chanyeol’s whining beside him because he didn’t get to take a closer look of his crush. Then, the third time when they saw the pair was nearing the closing time of the café. And damn, Chanyeol swore Sehun almost fainted when he saw Kai came in wearing glasses, freaking glasses. Chanyeol would never forget his friend’s face when he saw Kai came in wearing freaking glasses and a freaking turtleneck sweater. Luck was on Sehun’s side that day because Eunhyuk had gone back due to high fever so Sehun had to take the orders. And that means Sehun finally had the chance to talk to Kai. Chanyeol stayed beside Sehun when the other was taking Kai’s order and he had to restrain himself from teasing Sehun because Sehun’s flushing so hard and he was so sure that Kai had noticed, based on his little smirk (which Sehun didn’t noticed). “Y-Your name please?” Sehun stuttered out, and Chanyeol’s grin widened. He made a mental note to tease Sehun later. Kai stared at Sehun the whole time, and of course, making the barista’s face redder. “Kai. What’s yours?” Kai combed his hair back and asked. Smooth, real smooth, Chanyeol thought. “Okay.” Sehun looked like he hasn’t had the time to react but then, “H-Huh?” He looked up after writing Kai’s name on the cup, blushing hard when Kai chuckled. “Your name. I’m Kai and what’s yours?” If Sehun wasn’t so shocked about Kai’s asking his name, he would immerse himself in Kai’s amazing voice, especially when he chuckled. “I-I am Sehun.” He couldn’t help but stuttered because who else could function normally when your perfect crush was standing right in front of you? “Sehun. Cute.” Kai smirked again and Chanyeol noticed Sehun’s ears were red too. “T-Thanks.” Sehun thanked even though he didn’t know what did Kai’s cute referred to. 

“Stop flirting, Kai.” The Kyungsoo guy came to pull Kai aside and then he sent an apologetically smile towards Sehun.  Sehun nodded shyly and turned around to prepare their order, face still scarlet. “This is the second time I’ve seen you this shy since high school man, your face is redder than a tomato. I had to restrain myself to laugh just now, your expression looks priceless when he said your name’s cute.” Chanyeol snickered, and Sehun could only glare at the other and hissed a ‘shut the hell up’ after making sure no one would hear him. 

Meanwhile…

“I can’t believe you just flirt with a barista.” Kyungsoo commented wryly, making Kai laughed. “Hyung, I can’t help it. He’s so cute. How can someone be handsome and cute at the same time?” Kyungsoo almost choked himself and Kai laughed harder. 

When Sehun walked to serve their coffees, Kai turned to stare at him and smiled, causing Sehun’s heart to leap up. “Thank you.” Both Kai and Kyungsoo said before Sehun turned around and walked back to the counter. “Do you think Kyungsoo has a type?” Sehun jumped when Chanyeol stood behind him and asked in a sudden. “No? I don’t know…maybe?” Sehun tuned around to face Chanyeol, only finding the other staring intently at Kyungsoo. “I think I should go talk to him.” Chanyeol said after a moment of silence and before Sehun could react. Chanyeol walked out. Sehun wished he had guts like Chanyeol. 

Sehun was scrolling through his notifications when he felt someone’s eyes boring into him. He looked up from his phone only to meet with Kai’s hazel eyes, extremely surprised because Kai’s standing in front of the counter. Sehun felt nervous all of a sudden. “M-May I help you?” Sehun stuttered and walked closer to the counter. Looking at Kai up close, Sehun found that the other really was perfect, perfectly his type too. Caramel skinned, tall, perfectly toned body with sharp jawline and also piercings, and what’s better, he wore glasses too. “Like what you see?” Kai asked and smirked, Sehun’s face turned beat red in a second. “I-I…sorry.” Sehun wasn’t prepared when Kai stretched out his hand and titled his head up with fingers under his chin. His legs almost gave up when he locked eyes with Kai. He could feel Chanyeol and Kyungsoo’s stares from afar and his face turned even redder. “You look cute when you’re shy.” Kai said, hazel eyes staring intently at Sehun. Without waiting for Sehun’s reply, Kai continued. “Want to have dinner with me tomorrow?” 

Sehun couldn’t have said yes faster.
