She woke up with an extreme pain in her left eye. The pain was almost unbearable. She could feel it throbbing as if it was trying to get out of its socket. Swallowing the lump on , she quickly get up from her bed. Walking towards her bathroom, she removed her hand that was pressed against her eyes. There she saw her eyes looking different with purplish red glowing on the outer part of her iris. Blinking, it didn't diappeared but rather glowed brighter.
She wasn't expecting that or maybe because she got used to waiting for so long that it felt like she was waiting for nothing. Opening her cabinet, she grabbed for her medical eye patch and placed it over her left eyes before walking back to her bed where she slammed herself back.
Reaching for her phone, she looked at the time.

How long has it been? 100 years? 200 years? She's unsure. She felt like she had been waiting forever and maybe she has. Lifting her arms, she touched the mark on her neck and silently wished for everything to end even though she's fully aware that it will never end.
