The scenery around you was breathtaking, beautiful in every aspect despite the fact that it was all because it was dying and preparing for rebirth in a new season. Nature was pretty amazing in some aspects. The Autumn wind picked up, bringing a taste of the coming winter chill with it, your scarf whipping up and around your cheeks as  you and Mark walked through the park on your way to get something warm to drink.

“So hows work?” you asked in an attempt to make small talk. You had known Mark for years and talking wasn’t absolutely necessary between the two of you and the silence was just as comforting with him. All you needed to know is that he was there and you were completely at ease.

“It’s alright, boring at times but it’s good.” he replied as your elbows began to bang together slightly from the close proximity of your strides. Leaves trickled down like raindrops all around you, coating the path in bright yellows and oranges and chocolate browns, the satisfying crunch of them under your feet giving you a slight sense of joy. “Ive missed you.” he said suddenly and you couldn’t help the smile that graced your lips.

“I missed you too, I’m glad we got to spend some time together today.” you said as you pulled your right arm from your pocket and linked it with his left, unsure if the pink in his cheeks was from blushing or the cold, maybe a mixture of the two.

“I just wish I didn’t have to work all the time so I could spend more time with my family and friends, especially you,” he confessed and you knew how lonely each and everyone of the boys were, being so far from family and feeling cut off to having only one another. And that’s what made the got7 boys so close, in a way they became each others family.

“Well your not working right now,” you replied unhooking your arm from his and dancing ahead of him on the deserted path, spinning in the whirlwind of leaves. “you’re here with me in this wonderland.” you replied with a giggle as you skipped and danced in front of him, causing him to laugh as he watched you.

“Y/n come here.” he called to you as you seemed to have wandered farther away from him than expected before jogging back to him. He opened his arms and pulled you in for a tight hug and time seemed to stand still all around you, the only sound was his light breathing in your ear and the wind rustling the leaves. Other than that it was peaceful and perfect.

He tugged you sideways and soon the both of you were falling into a small pile of leaves that had built up on the grass bank, Mark making sure you landed softly on him. You looked into his eyes with a smile as you both laughed.

“Was this your plan all along?” you questioned him and he held you on top of him, never taking his eyes off of yours.

“No, this was just an added bonus. This on the other hand,” he said as he leaned up slowly, his atoms apple bobbing as he swallowed, his face inching closer to yours with every passing second and you closed your eyes in anticipation. His lips were warm and soft as they pressed to yours ever so gently. Just as he was breaking the kiss you were met with a fistful of leaves to the face causing you to roll of him in shock as Mark began laughing.

“Youre in for it now!” you yelled as you gathered up fistfuls of leaves and began to chase after him. Nothing could ever beat this day.
