‘Should I call him or not?’ 

 

‘Wait what time is it in America?’ 

 

‘Oh it’s 8pm over there. Perhaps he’s having dinner’ 

 

Sana had been sitting at the balcony for half an hour with her phone held tightly in her hand while thinking about Tzuyu. Mina had gone to attend her schedules and Sana did not have any busy schedules for the day. 

 

‘Perhaps I should call him’ 

 

She pressed on Tzuyu’s name on the phone screen and dialed his number. It took a few seconds to get the call to be connected to him. 

 

‘If you’re a Korean, annyeong! I’m busy call me later okay? But if you’re an American, what’s up! I’m busy call me later alright? Bye!’ 

 

Sana ended the call and chuckled after hearing his voicemail. 

 

“Perhaps he is having his dinner” 

 

She set her phone on the table beside her and went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. But suddenly she heard her phone rang. She quickly went to grab her phone and her eyes scanned the caller ID. 

 

‘Tzuyu’ 

 

“Omo he’s calling back!”

“Ooh la la la la ~” 

 

Tzuyu came out from his bathroom after a long hot shower. He dried his hair using a small towel and let another big towel to wrap his lower body. He went to the mirror and looked at his own reflection. 

 

“Hey, nice abs” he winked at himself in the mirror 

 

The tanned guy went to the bed to take his phone where he last placed it on. He noticed at the phone screen showing a one miscall.  

 

“Hmm, this is not an American number” he said after looking at the digits 

So he called back. He waited for the call to be connected and he heard the other person answered it. 

 

“Hi there! I’ve got one miscall from you” said Tzuyu 

 

“Hi Tzuyu” 

 

“Your voice sounds familiar. It’s Sana right?” 

 

“Hehe yes. I called you just now but no one answered” 

 

“Sorry I was taking a shower” 

 

“Aah okay” 

 

“So why’d you call?” 

 

“I uhh... just wanted to call to say hi” 

 

“Well, hi then! Haha. How’s your mother?” 

 

“She’s just fine. You know, the same as usual” 

 

“I see. How are you?” he asked 

 

“I’ve been better. My friends helped me to get my job back” 

 

“Hey that’s great! So you’re once again the priceless model” 

 

“Hehe yes” 

 

“Good. Well, what about him?” 

 

“Mark? I haven’t heard about him ever since.. you left” 

 

“Really? Does this means that you are not divorced yet?” 

 

“Not yet but I’ve been trying to think of something to make him sign those divorce papers” 

 

“Do you need my help?” he asked boldly 

 

“W-what?” 

 

“Perhaps I can give you a hand to make your divorce thingy to go smoothly” 

 

“You’re willing to help me, again? Tzuyu you helped me a lot” 

 

“A thank you would be fine, Sana” he chuckled 

 

“Hehe. Tzuyu can I ask you a question?” 

 

“Sure. Anything” 

 

“Why me? Why are you helping me?” 

“That’s a good question actually I’ve been thinking the same recently and I still don’t have the answer. Well maybe I just have the feeling to help you get out of your miserable life?” 

 

“Or maybe you’re a really kind person, Tzuyu” 

 

“Thank you for praising me! Haha” 

 

“Hehe. Oh hey I gotta go. Someone’s at the door, I gotta go check who it is. Talk to you soon?” 

 

“Sure. Now that I have your number so I’ll save it and call you soon okay?” 

 

“Okay Tzuyu. Bye now” 

 

“Bye Sana”

Back in Korea,    *ding dong*    “Coming” Sana placed her phone back onto the table and went to the door.    She didn’t bother to check through the door hole and opened the door. She was surprised to see him.    “What the- what are you doing here, Mark”     “Hello darling” he barged in which made Sana to have her fast reflex by moving to the side    “Did I say you can come in?” she crossed her arms    “Figured out that you’ve been here all along” Mark looked around the house. “I guess Mina went out?”    “What do you want?”    “I want you back” he shoved his hands into his jeans’ pockets    “After I know about what actually happened? In your dreams, honey” she said the last word with full of sarcasm    “Are you sure you really know what actually happened?” he looked at her    Sana stayed silent.    “So you don’t know the truth. Do you want to know the truth, Sana?”    “Tell me”    “Then come back to me” he gritted his teeth. “You know the only way for you to find out is from me right? I am the only source”    “Why are you doing this to me, Mark? Why?” she asked softly    “You know why, Sana. It’s because I love you. I’m doing this is because of my dying love for you”    “Stop it please”    “No I can’t stop. You know why I came here? It’s because I really want you back. I love you, Sana” he walked closer to her    “How many times must I tell you that I don’t love you?!” she pushed him away    “Why can’t you love me back? Is it because of my dark side huh? I had to be mean because I’m dying for your love! Is there any other guy out there who loves you as much as I do?!” he locked her hands by holding it    “I bet there is someone out there who loves me not as evil as you!” she tried to pry away from him but he’s too strong    “Is it Tzuyu?!”     She stopped her struggling movements of trying to get away from him because she just heard Tzuyu’s name coming out from Mark’s mouth.    “It’s Tzuyu, right Sana?”    She pretended to not know about Tzuyu so that Tzuyu won’t get involved in this matter, “I don’t know what you are talking about”    “I know Sana, I know. The hospital bills, he’s paying for it. And I have the feeling that he took care of you when you left me the other night”    “He is a good friend of mine” said Sana    “Good friend or a good lover?”    She gulped down the saliva stuck in .    “How could you do this to me, Sana? How could you do that to your own husband?” said Mark    “I don’t prefer to be called your wife anymore. I don’t care what other hard ways I must take to find out the truth behind my father’s death as long as I am not with a scumbag like you. And speaking about the matter of husband and wife, I want you to sign these papers” she went to take the brown envelope containing the divorce papers and placed it onto the table in front of him    He chuckled, “Just like I predicted, you have already prepared the divorce files. Wonderful, my darling. Very wonderful” he clapped his hands and laughed. “But you clearly know that I won’t let you go right? So that means I won’t sign those piece of ‘sheets’ ”    “Fine. Then get out of here” she commanded    “Not till you come back with me” he grabbed her hand    “No! Let me go!”    “I tried so hard to get you as my wife and I’m not easily letting you go!”    Sana fiercely pulled her hand away and landed her palm on his right cheek with full of force. Mark held his stinging cheek and looked at her.    “You did not just slap me again!”    He burst into anger and pulled his hand into the air to land it on her cheek. But suddenly, he felt someone tugged his arm. He looked to the side and saw Mina glaring at him.    “She said get out, which means get out. And I’m the rightful owner of this place, so I’m also telling you, no, commanding you to get the hell out of here”    “You think you ladies are strong enough to fight me back?” he teasingly asked    “Get out before I call the cops and tell them that you barged into my girlfriend’s house without permission and for abusing your soon to be ex-wife”    Sana and Mark saw someone they didn’t recognize standing by the door with a phone in his hand ready to call the cops. It was Mina’s new boyfriend, Chaeyoung.    Mark gritted his teeth and whispered to Sana, “You know I can do anything to get you back”    Mina slowly let go of his arm and watched him leaving the place alone. After the sight of Mark disappeared, Mina went and hugged her best friend.    “Thank you for saving me, Mina-ya” said Sana    “You’re welcome. Gosh that guy was so mean.
