BLOOD: A Vampire's Tale

➴ p r o l o g u e

✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥

The silver moon was high in the dark sky giving off the only light, apart from the lampposts whose rays across the deserted highways blinking on and off. The wind howls wildly along with the Lightning whose cut crazy zig-zags into the dark sky. He watched the moon slowly ascending into the night sky through the parted curtains from his window. The ivory light shimmer across the dark waters of the ocean just outside of a mansion and beam through the curtains, along with his pale milky cold skin.

Dropping his knees down, he clenches his throat as he felt his boiling blood rushing through his veins. He raised his heavy lids with his mouth hanging open, revealing his fangs from the corner of his moist upper lip. He runs his tongue over his teeth and stopped at his incisors to felt it with his fingers and they were long and sharp.  He stands and walks close to a mirror to get a good look but instead, he saw how empty the room was behind him.

He looked back to see his body, it was glistening pale white adding the ray of light coming from the moonlight. He patted his body, it was cold and solid like. But then as the full moon beams clearly through him, he felt his heart. It was beating again, a very slow beating along with his heavy breathing.

Then it hit him. He was a vampire.
