Chapter 5
Full Of Regret | TaerosekookIt was already three months since Chaeyoung worked in Taehyung’s company. Taehyung had been giving her all the special treatments making her felt uncomfortable as she did not want other employees to hate her.
“Morning Chae.” Jihyo, her co-worker greeted her when she opened the door after knocking it.
“Morning Jihyo.” Chaeyoung greeted back. “You want some biscuits?” Chaeyoung showed her a packet of oat biscuits.
“Thanks but I already had my breakfast. Here, you flowers as usual. But this time, you got two bouquet.” Jihyo chuckled as she placed those two bouquets of flowers on the table.
Chaeyoung widened her eyes.
“I know that one is from Taehyung as usual but I am not sure for the other one.” Jihyo shrugged.
“It’s okay, thank you so much Jihyo-ah.” Chaeyoung smiled.
“No problem, let’s get lunch together later.” Jihyo smiled.
“Sure.” Chaeyoung waved as Jihyo closed the door.
Chaeyoung placed the packet of biscuits down and took the bouquet of red roses and smelled it. She opened the card that was attached on it.
Morning beautiful :)
I hope you have a nice day.
From : Taehyung
Chaeyoung smiled while reading the card. “When will he stop giving me all these flowers. He’s been giving it on everyday.” Chaeyoung muttered as she placed the bouquet on the cupboard behind her.
Chaeyoung took the bouquet of white roses and opened the card that was attached to it.
I hope you can forgive me, Chaeyoung-ah.
From : JK
Chaeyoung bit her lower lips after she read the card.
It was Seokjin who told Jungkook where she work now. She did not blame Seokjin or even Jisoo as she knew that those two still cared for Jungkook. Jungkook was like a younger brother of Seokjin.
Chaeyoung startled when someone knocked on her door, she came back to her sense after having a deep thought.
“Come in.” Chaeyoung said.
The door opened revealing Taehyung with his box smile. “Are you busy right now? Can I come in?” He asked.
Chaeyoung smiled and nodded.
He sat in front of her. “Let’s get some breakfast?” He asked.
Chaeyoung shook her head and showed him the packet of biscuits.
“Aigoo, that biscuits are not enough.” Taehyung shook his head.
“I don’t want to have breakfast with you. What will the other employees say if we keep on having breakfast together?” Chaeyoung scrunched her nose.
“They can say anything that they want.” Taehyung shrugged. “Did you like the flowers?” He placed his arms on her table as he leaned closer.
Chaeyoung sighed. “You don’t have to buy me flowers everyday, Taehyung.”
“You are not answering my question.”
Chaeyoung faked a smile. “Yes, I like it. Thank you.”
“That’s good to know.” He grinned while roaming his eyes around her room when one thing caught his eyes. “I don’t remember giving you two flowers today.” Taehyung furrowed his brows.
“It’s from someone else.” Chaeyoung said as she was working on her laptop.
Taehyung widened his eyes. “I have a rival now? .”
“Yah, language please.” Chaeyoung glared at him.
Taehyung chuckled. “Sorry.”
Chaeyoung turned to look at him. “Don’t you have a lot of work to do?”
“Oh yeah, I totally forget about it whenever I look at you. Thanks for telling me. I’ll get going now.” Taehyung said and went out of her room.
“Geez.” Chaeyoung cringed at his words.
