Due to the endless support from its viewers, the producer of The Return of Superman decided to produce the idol series.

EXO Sehun, BTS JungKook, GOT7 Jinyoung, Super Junior Donghae, and SEVENTEEN Mingyu have confirmed to join the program. 

The celebrities dads are left to care for their kids alone without the help of their wives for 48 hours, while the wives leave the home to enjoy their free time. The dads will be given a list of instructions by their wives and they have to complete it within 48 hours.

Oh Sehun: Two boys (Twins) 2 years old ~ Oh SeJun & Oh SeJin, Wife: Oh YoonJin

Jeon JungKook: One boy (1 year old) ~ Jeon Minwoo, Wife: Jeon HyeJung

Park Jinyoung: One girl & One boy (Twins) 3 years old ~ Park Jihae & Park HyunJin, Wife: Park Hyewon

Lee Donghae: One girl (5 months old) ~ Lee Jiwoo, Wife: Lee Eunhye

Kim Mingyu: One girl (1 year old) ~ Kim Jisoo, Wife: Kim YeJin

Why you decided to join this program?

Jinyoung: Through this program, i really hope to make great memories with my kids so that in the future when my kids are much older, we can re watch what we did back before then. Also because of my schedule, i could hardly spend lots of time with my kids so i want to make use of this great opportunity to bond with the two little ones.

Mingyu: I want to let my wife rest since she has been through alot of hardships during her pregnancy, also because of work i couldnt help her take care of Jisoo. I think through this 48 hours i could learn alot about being a father taking care of my 9 months old daughter.

JungKook: I think its a great opportunity to spend the meaningful 48 hours taking care of my son. Ever since the birth of Minwoo, i couldnt spend alot of time with him because of work. I hope to bring Minwoo around the country to explore different things and adventures.

Sehun: Just like the other dads, i really want my wife to have a break and leave the kids to me. Also YoonJin is going to film for her upcoming drama which means she will be busy. I just want to take care of my two boys while my wife is working.

Donghae: To be very honest, parenting is hard if only person is taking care of the child most of the time.  I want to make use of this opportunity to spend time with my princess Jiwoo. I watched Hwi Jae sunbaenim part with his two sons, i find it rather cute to be able to do and experience many different things with your children.
