“You do know how obvious, as well as pathetic, you are right?”

A light, fed up voice shook Yebin from her trance. She looked up, showing her pouting lips before completely ignoring the brunette. She sighed before sitting down next to Yebin, trying many positions before settling down in a classic cross-legged pose while hugging her knees and leaning her head on Yebin’s right shoulder.

“Nayoung?”

“Mmhmm?”

“.....”

“Spill it, Yebin, and don’t you even try to lie.”

“You know how the school is holding many sport events this week?”

“I do.”

“Well, I was thinking tha-”

“Yebin, we’ve been through this probably more times than you stare at Minky, it wouldn’t be fair if either of us enters.”

Yebin stood up, rather flustered.

“Hey, don’t bring Minky into this.’’

Her eyes soften and her tough demeanor was gone for a bit. You could just barely see the slight shade of red in her eyes appear and it seemed that even her hair became lighter, though it was probably because of the light. To someone else, it looked like nothing, but Nayoung knew this look. She stood up and grabbed Yebin’s hand.

“...I’ll treat you do chocolate…”

Nayoung dragged her along the concrete ground, not even looking back, but she could tell her sister’s eyes were back to normal and her regular smile was back on her face.

Chocolate must have been her favourite food. It was honestly a wonder how Yebin was still so skinny and fit, though she probably just got all her energy from that. Of course Nayoung knew, she knew everything  (“Nayoung, what’s the time difference from London and Tokyo?” “8 hours, Japan ahead.”)

“Hey, Nayoung!”

Despite only Nayoung’s name being called, both immediately snapped their heads towards the direction in unison. Whether that was because of a sisterly habit or because of their high ranks in cadets, it didn’t matter.

“Lemme guess, chocolate?”

Yebin gave back 5 quick nods like a puppy. Nayoung left and walked into the store. She dug around for her spare change before grabbing some Kit Kat. She paid after a look of approval from Yebin and returned as quickly as she left

“Well, I’m not surprised. Anyway, we have history test next?”

“Yup”

They all moved towards the library, taking a longer route courtesy of Yebin having to finish her chocolate and because Minkyung was sitting near the gymnasium.

“Isn’t she like 2 years older than you?”

“1 and a half actually.”

They got to the door of the library, Nayoung checking the time left.

“We have about 15 minutes left.”

“Wait, why are you two here anyway, you guys always ace history exams. I mean, Nayoung you ace every test, but Yebin, the only things you actually do are biology and maths and that’s because you want something in those fields. You two know so many facts and details, it's not even funny anymore. It’s almost like you two lived through it all.”

Yebin and Nayoung eyed each other. They couldn’t deny that they are both extremely knowledged in the subject of history, but it makes sense. Kinda.

“Oh sh*t”

Yebin and Kyulkung turned towards Nayoung.

“Goddamit Nayoung” mutter
