The Housekeeper
The Reluctant CoupleAaliya was eagerly awaiting Purab's presence as she paced the living room which earned her curious looks from her grandmother which she ignored. Purab will come soon and she has every intention of going with him to his new house, she's going to take him up on that offer.
"You shouldn't be so obvious, your dadi is staring at you." Tanu hissed as she grabbed her arm, halting her movements.
Aaliya rolled her eyes. "Everyone knows I love Purab and I can do whatever I want in my house. You have been trying so hard to get Abhi to notice you and he hasn't, so I see no reason for you to lecture me on a similar situation."
Tanu coloured slightly and dropped her hold. "I just..." She broke off and stared into space.
Aaliya having realized she spoke harshly to her sighed and turned her to face herself. "I am just anxious to see where he is moving to and I really want this to work out." She whispered so that her grandmother would have no idea what they were talking about.
Tanu nodded. "I understand but Purab doesn't and he might not even take you along."
"That will not happen," she stated vehemently. "I will be right there to help him move into his new apartment."

"You can rest assured that you have been picked for the job and I ensure you that you would never find a better boss anywhere."
"I hope so," the girl muttered under her breath. She really need this job and she thought she would already have a roof over her head by now but apparently her new boss doesn't have her time.
She had dropped her suitcase with a shopkeeper few buildings away from here and had thought that she would retrieve it before going home with him but she might have to come back tomorrow. Her biggest problem is where she would stay for the night.
She fixed a permanent smile on her face when the woman told her she should come back the next morning. "Thank you Madam, thanks for giving me this opportunity." She curtsied and made her way out.
