Tanu threw the offensive newspaper on the bed and then grabbed her phone, pacing the length of the room as she patiently wait for Aaliya to pick up her phone.

"What's the meaning of all this Aaliya? Have you seen the news?" She said as soon as she picked up.

"Of course I have," Aaliya snapped at her. "Do you actually think it is possible not to hear about this? The reporters are right outside and the phones have been ringing nonstop and I can't get out of the house because of this." Tanu is a sweet girl and a good friend but she could be so dumb at times. "It's what the whole city is talking about."

Tanu calmed down. "It came as a  shock because I know Abhi will never do that." Abhi is a honorable man and he can never do anything wrong.

"I wonder who the girl is," Aaliya said. "We only have the initial 'A' and that can be anybody in the world. I haven't even talked to Abhi about this." She sighed. "I just wish this is all a bad dream," she groaned.

"What about Abhi? How is he taking this?" She bit her nails in agitation. "Is he angry?"

"Of course he would be. This is a scandal after all. He went out with Purab but none of them would tell me where they're going." She was annoyed about how tight lipped they were when she asked them where they are going and she was furious they left her behind.
