Supernatural beings have lurked the earth as early as the non-magic beings have. These magical beings have filled the skies, land, waters and even below the earth to nourish and care for it with the help and support of the humans. They have worked in perfect harmony during the early development of the earth. However, jealousy grew in these humans' hearts and their desire to gain power and magic have developed through time, they started a war and did everything they could to exterminate these magical beings in unjust ways with the hopes of eradicating the races, wanting the earth for themselves. 

These magical beings now have learned to hide themselves among non-magical beings blending with the "locals", as they simply coined them, leaving these beings as childhood stories and myths just to scare children and some adults away.
