Prompt: Pudgy! Write about post-partum Joohyun <3

“Pudgy wudgy,” said Joohyun, grabbing her own fleshy, flappy tummy after weeks of giving birth. The baby, who was quietly sleeping now after wrestling with its cries and needs, had given Joohyun that so called ‘Mom-belly’ and of course, there was a new fan in the house.

Seulgi nearly jumped out of bed with a huge grin and stopped right before her wife in the mirror looking at that little pudgy bit of her tummy. “Ah, can I touch it?” She asked softly.

And of course, Joohyun laughed. “It’s not like it hurts me or anything.”

“I know, but…” Seulgi trailed off, letting her hands gently caress it and then giving it the softest squeeze. She felt it in her hands, felt its warmth and it made her grin. “Ah, it’s so cute!”

Joohyun pouted. “Are you sure? Doesn’t it look… bad?”

“Nope!” Seulgi nuzzled her lips against the back of her lover’s neck, purring as she gave the pudge another tender squeeze. “It’s the cutest! I wanna bite.”

In that moment, Joohyun could feel that same warmth in Seulgi’s palm tentacling all over her body. The blush in her cheeks was evident, the goofy smile was obvious, and the soft giggles at Seulgi’s enthusiasm with this new part of her body made Joohyun feel so loved. Seulgi’s fingertips caressed those stretchmarks lovingly, like it was a new toy for her to admire, her noms were never so enthusiastic and Joohyun had never felt so loved. Even with this new part of her body, in this new part of her life, she’s never felt so secured in this new road they were taking, the road of parenthood that often seemed trite and devoid of intimacy. Joohyun felt lucky, patting and rubbing Seulgi’s hair as she gave tender kisses all around.

Even if it was eventually interrupted by a crying baby, Joohyun felt revitalised and ready to take on the world.
