Hey guys, so I wanted to give you an update on myself for two reasons. One, because of the obvious pandemic we're in. It's good to keep up with your friends and the ones you care about because the human race, even if you're an introverted person, rely on human interactions. Moreso than just our family or our roommate that we share an apartment with. It's also nice to know that the ones you care about are healthy and safe. Two, because I know some of you will be questioning why I'm doing the writing contest since you've probably noticed that recently, besides 2PM and Infinite, I don't write about kpop groups. This is all just my own preference and opinion, so please keep that in mind as you read. Lets get this started.

Sidenote, the second point will be long, so make yourselves comfortable if you plan to read it.

Firstly, I'm doing fine. I don't go out much anyway because I was taking a gap year from school and looking for a job before the pandemic hit. So, other than doctor's appointments or going out with friends, which didn't happen all the time anyway, I didn't go out much. Now that the pandemic is happening, I don't go out other than for walks around the neighbourhood since I live with my family. My dad gets the groceries and everything since he has to go out for work anyway. So yeah, that's quite boring. Yes, I didn't go out much to begin with, but... There's a difference between you choosing not to go out and you being forced not to go out, you know? And that brings us to our second point.

Second, I joined the writing contest because of boredom. That's the obvious reason. But, for the readers who have noticed, I don't usually write about kpop groups other than 2PM and Infinite. So, when you saw that I was writing about Seventeen and BlackPink, that must have thrown you off. Well, I'll explain myself.

Let's start off by saying I don't want to write about a group just to get views, you know? Lets be honest, stories with tags like "EXO" will get more views than ones with tags like "U-KISS". But, I also have a criteria list when deciding what group to write about. I know all the hot kpop groups ITZY, BlackPink, Red Velvet, Dreamcatcher, NCT/WayV, Stray Kids, BTS, EXO, etc. Why don't I write about them? Three reasons. Number two will be long, but I appreciate if you read everything.

First one, because I don't keep up with them. I'll get into why I don't in the second point but... Because I don't, I don't know the members' personalities or who they're friends with or habits or anything like that. Sure, I could write fantasy and manipulate it to however I see fit, but I think the basics of someone's persona should at least be there, you know? Like, lets use Super Junior's Kyuhyun as an example. We all know he's the evil maknae; his personality is kind of within that title, you know? We know he's good friends with TVXQ's Changmin and SHINee's Taemin, so there's the friend part. I know that, so I can write about Kyuhyun, but I wouldn't feel right to write about someone like... EXO's Chanyeol, you know? That's just me. Nothing to do with the idols in que
