Nichkhun had teleported them back home. When he let go of Wooyoung's hand, the angel blinked at him curiously. "What?" Nichkhun asks him.

"Well, first of all..." Wooyoung starts. "Don't you think that was a little harsh?"

"I don't, no." Nichkhun shakes his head. "Ever since we met her and our other classmates, they've put a target on your head. You're just ignorant of it because of your angelic nature."

"Angelic nature?" Wooyoung raises a curious brow at Nichkhun.

"You know..." The demon starts. "The kind nature of angels. It's what's so annoying about them and makes them so ignorant to everyone's dark side."

"Oh." Wooyoung nods.

"Yeah." Nichkhun nods too. And then it goes silent. Normally speaking, they would either banter or walk away from each other at this point. Nichkhun didn't understand why Wooyoung wasn't starting the banter. Wooyoung, on the other hand, didn't understand why Nichkhun didn't just walk away from him and leave him there alone.

"What is it?" Wooyoung broke the silence after what felt like forever to both of them, though they wouldn't ever admit it to the other.

"What do you mean?" Nichkhun asks with confusion.

"You would have walked away after giving that insult." Wooyoung points out as if it was the most obvious thing in the world to figure out. Which, to him, it probably was. And he expected Nichkhun to know himself well enough to be aware of his habits too.

"What about you then?"

"You would have started arguing, saying something insulting about demons like how we're disgusting creatures who can only see the dark side of everything and really need that annoying good nature. You would also emphasize the word annoying." The angel just raises a questioning brow at the demon.
