So..............

I doubt many of you guys have watched the movie Warm Bodies (if you have I think you'll get where I'm going with this fic), but I was rewatching this film earlier today and an idea sparked within me once I'd finished watching that I felt like I had to write it straight away.

It might be a little confusing for those of you who havent watched, so I'll try and give you a little run down of how the plot of the movie goes:

It's set in a post apocalyptic world, where a group of people live in a city surrounded by a big wall which they've built themselves. The wall was built to protect them for these things called 'corpses' which are humans that have been infected by a plague/turned by other corpses and now feed off human flesh (basically zombies) and also 'boneys' who are skeletons who have lost all of their humanity and prey on anything with a heartbeat.

I don't think you need to know the ins and out of the movie plot so all I will say is that these 'corpses' are not entirely lost causes, as it is revealed in the movie that with the help of another human, corpses can begin to feel things again like they did when they were once alive. If given enough love and care corpses' hearts can begin to beat again, and eventually will turn them fully back into a human.

This fic is based loosely off that plot idea, and takes place right after the ending of the movie.
