A small Mistake, that turned into a huge Scandal.

Description

What if you're in a hurry and that because of an accident, a tiny mistake, you end up in a country you've never been before. And because of a clumsy fault, you cause a huge Scandal, that changes the rest of your live.

Foreword

So, this is my first fanfiction that I'll be posting here. So if any of you have some tips or feedback don't hold back and write them in the comment section!

So here's an introduction to the story, it's only a bit of back-up information. If you don't want to read it, you can just go to the next chapter, I'll leave a short recap of this piece there.

~Lets Start!~

Slowly the guitar music started to speed up and got replaced by the dramatic violin solo.

The o, so nice dream I had got interrupted by the pop music that the violin solo turned into.

I woke up out of shock and quickly sat up straight, pulling out one earphone. I looked around, my heart beating fast by the sudden stop of my dream.

The flight attendants brought drinks to the passengers and seemed very busy, even though they managed to smile and stay polite.

I sat next to a stranger who was reading the paper, he glanced at me through the corner of his eye. I swallowed and turned away. Cranky old man.

I looked out the window and was hoping to see land or mountains, but instead I only saw clouds. They were unbearable to look at because they reflected the sunlight in my eyes. I blinked a few times and then closed the window curtain thing.

I heard the man next to me groan in irritation and quickly pushed the curtain up again. Grumpy old irritating grandpa. I said to myself.

I shut down my I-pod and put it in my purse. When I opened it a book fell out. I immediately smiled when I saw it. I grabbed the book and opened it. I couldn’t hide smile when I saw all the letters from my family. They lived in Spain, well the family from my grandmas side. All my second cousins and nieces lived there, or should I say third and fourth? I only spoke to my godmother and godfather who lived there. Yes my parents decided to make people I wouldn’t be able to see often and lived in a different country my godmother and –father.  But I was always welcome there, in their house. Even though there was an economic crisis right now. I knew they had trouble earning enough money, so I was going to give them some from my savings before I left, for always being hospitable.

The ‘put your seatbelt on’ light went on and the flight attendants were doing a last check if everyone was seated. Only twenty minutes left and we would land in Spain.

I smiled and looked outside the window.

“Thank you for flying with Ryan air, we wish you a pleasant stay!”

I stepped out of the plain and into the heath. Yes, this was Spain already. After getting my luggage I left the gate and I immediately saw my family waiting. They said they would wear red, so I could recognize them and they were also holding a sign that said my name. I smiled and walked to them.

“Delicia!” I yelled. A small old woman look up at me and smiled brightly. “___!” She hugged me tightly and began to talk Spanish to me. To be very honest, I’m horrible at speaking Spanish. I know basic sentences and words. But holding a real conversation?

I felt my face turn red and looked at her with a faint smile while nodding. I hoped she saw I didn’t understand her, but unfortunately she kept on rambling. Then she pointed at a man behind her, I assumed this was her son.

“Hello,” He said in his best English, but his accent made understanding hard. “I’ll take you to Formariz, okay?” He said and smiled.

Four hours later we arrived in Formariz, a small village near the border of Portugal. I hugged Delicia and her son goodbye, because they live in a different village.

I was only staying here for a weekend so really wanted to see and talk to as many persons as I could.

I spent the first full day with my grandmother and father but in the evening I met up with my cousins at the small school in the middle of the village. One girl spoke English, she was new in the village and her family had bought a house there for the holidays. She was like my translator, even though her English wasn’t perfect it was nice to talk to someone. My oldest cousin also new a bit of English but had a lot of trouble with it. He was quite small and had black hair. He looked a bit like Orlando Bloom, if you saw him in the right light and then a smaller version of course. He stood up and ruffled his hair. “Ana,” The girl who was my translator. “I really need you brother!” Julio said. He took a cigarette and lighted it. Smoking was bad, he should know better.

I looked from Ana to Julio. “My brother had an English girlfriend, he speaks English really well.”

And he did.

One hour later he came, he was only a few centimetres taller than me and was carrying his guitar on his back. With a huge, bright smile he walked towards us.

“Gabriel!” Ana yelled and stood up and hugged her brother. They were a lot closer than me and my brother, we would just yell at each other from across the room.

Ana stopped hugging him and pointed at me. “That’s ___,” she said.

Gabriel walked to me with his huge smile and gave me a hand. “Gabriel,” He said.

“I’m ___,” I said smiling back at him. I felt my face turn red when I noticed he kept looking at me and didn’t let go of my hand.  He had short black hair that looked very playfull.

“Play for us!” Other cousins yelled. Gabriel stood up straight and pulled his guitar to the front.

“What song?” He asked. Everyone yelled different things and eventually he started playing something he wanted. I listened to him, or should I say, I observed him very carefully.

I wouldn’t mind getting to know him better.

Unfortunately a day later I had to leave again.

After bawling like a child that just saw Bambi, saying goodbye, hugging everyone. Hugging Gabriel. I left.
