AN: Just a multi-shot that suddenly ed up my brain for the last couple of days. Really should be more worried about school but inspiration kicked in. This story has been in the works since Tuesday of this week, lmfao, I'm making it sound like I've been working on it for years but really, it's only been a few days. Anyways, this story was supposed to only be a one shot, but seeing how there's almost twenty pages worth of words - and counting by the way - I decided that it should just be a multi-shot. I hope this story brings joy to you, the first I've written in years. A crack ship that I really love and I wish you guys like it.

UPDATE: Please go check out yet another Kim Jisoo x Oh Sehun fanfiction written by moi titled The Art of Avoiding; a romcom full of ups that I think y'all will like too.

Foreword

Kim Jisoo and Oh Sehun have known in each other for years, a long time best friends who have always been there for each other. But it really didn’t start with a simple ‘him’ and ‘her’, it started with a ‘them.’ Bae Irene, Kim Jisoo and Oh Sehun were the trio, always seen together, always stuck together and were inseparable. But as they grew older, so did their desires which they thought were all just going to go away, but as years past and they grew older, those desires changed to passion which then changed to love. But they never knew that this thing called love could potentially ruin a life long friendship and make things complicated.

Oh Sehun was - or in Jisoo’s words - is still in love with Bae Irene, the breadwinner of not just her own family, but also their small group of friends. She’s beautiful to the point where even the most beautiful idols in the whole of South Korea would shake in her presence, how the world would suddenly become a little brighter when she walks in the room and how just by a simple smile, she gets the guys all riled up around her. And so that’s why Kim Jisoo never really questioned why Oh Sehun never got over her, she was EVERYTHING a man like him, or any other men in the world, could ask for.

And so when little Miss Bae Irene decided to venture out on her own and leave Seoul South Korea and fly her way across the country for a challenge at her life in the busy city of New York, Kim Jisoo took her chance and wooed Oh Sehun who was mending a heart that broke into a million pieces the day Bae Irene decided to leave behind a life that she was most comfortable with. He should know, because behind Kim Jisoo’s back, they were Oh Sehun and Bae Irene who kissed, made out, went on dates but never really labeled themselves. They did not kiss and tell, especially to the person who they’ve spent almost all of their lives with, Kim Jisoo who would later be heartbroken.

Chapter 7: Regrets. That’s the thing that comes to my mind right now. I think that Jisoo will have a huge sense of regret after letting Sehun walk away from her a second time.

I enjoyed this story... good job, butterahjumma!

Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Chapter 7: I think I'm one of the very few people who feel the regret?
No, I don't regret your story. It's a beautiful angst and well written.
But I've always tried to be honest on giving my opinion/comments. Technically, I was confused reading because there's too much italic and bold words. I understand it is to emphasize or maybe it's your writing style (I think this is the first time I read your works) and it's fine for other people. But personally it makes me quite dizzy. I don't know if it's just me or what, but bold texts tend to draw the attention to it so sometimes my eyes would steal a peek at them before reading the lines above. A little variation every here and there is good, but tbvh too many is not my cup.

The finale. I love story with ending opens to imagination. But I thought that since the whole finale Jisoo talked about having a closure, she thought and even discussed about it with Jinyoung.. but she never really acted on it. There's just too many things unexplained.

Now move to the things I like about this.
The details are good it shows the internal war within the characters. Which is important for readers to get into the story and swim through emotions with the characters.
The words and sentences are very easy to understand.
I like the parables. And the intro to chapter 5/6(?) about noise and loneliness.
Also I like hiw the story focuses on Jisoo, her feelings and things happen to her. But the story still shows a bit of other charaters' mind and feelings too. And I think that's what gets us to the night Jisoo let Sehun go. Because Jisoo was so wrapped up with what she thought is real, I can see sometimes she missed things. And I get that because of the long heartbreak, Jisoo slowly loosing her self esteem and worth. That's how good you are to stay focused on that issue without bringing up the issue of 'loving someone else and deserve better love'. This story is about letting go.

That's a long review. I'm sorry if I sound too harsh and rude. The emotions are caught up on my throats. Thank you for writing such a beautiful story for Sehun x Jisoo. It's a rare pairing but I love them. Hope you'd write more about HunSoo. ^^

Chapter 4: Finally got the chance to read this.
This chapter is so sad, the way you wrote it into details about their feelings, especially Jisoo's.

Chapter 7: I really love how you wrote this beautiful but heartbreaking story. It really pierced my heart. I'm really sad about how it ended but that's the reality that we have to face. There are only few authors who have this kind of realistic endings and I love how this story ended. Two thumbs up.

Chapter 6: Wow, this is so sad. I wanted a happy ending but we don't always get it. I love Hunsoo/Hunji so much. You are an amazing writer! Thank you for completing the story. It was wonderful but heartbreaking. I cried so much. I hope you write more Hunsoo story in the future but not so sad lol Thanks again!
