It always starts like this.

Boy meets girl.

Girl meets boy.

They become friends.

They become close friends.

Girl falls in love with boy.

Boy loves another girl.

Girl gives up.

Boy falls in love with Girl.

Girl starts dating another boy.

Boy gives up.

And it’s the same cycle, over and over again.

When I was little, my mother used to tell me that confiding everything to a single boy was a bad idea.

I couldn’t understand where her logic had come from.

But now, maybe I do.

Namjoon Kim 

Passionate about medicine, Namjoon's only goal in life is to save people and make the world a better place. With his dimpled smile and outgoing personality, it would be no surprise to people if he actually ran for president at their high school. He was kind and gentle-hearted, although these aspects were clouded by his clumsiness and sometimes goofy attitude. His close friendship with Yehwa is unexplainable, for they bicker like siblings most of the time but have such a good chemistry that they don't mind hanging out in silence. He loves understanding about people's lives, but somehow hates reading books for he finds them too boring. 

Yehwa Lim 

Yehwa is quieter than Namjoon when she's alone, but when they're together, it feels like the world is vibrating with their laughter. She's usually found with her nose buried in books and loves stories. She has a passion for languages that she wants to pursue in University, maybe work as someone who can help people regain and train their speech. Stubborn and short-tempered are her worst enemies, but Namjoon's patience and understanding get to her whenever they'd take over her logic. Her favourite hobbies include watching movies in bed and going on nature walks to clear her head.

Author's Note: Hello and welcome back everyone! It's this time of year where I finally get to start a new story fresh off the page and I can't be more excited than I am right now. Starting out new stories have always been so much fun for me, in my opinion it's the funnest part of writing and I can't wait to share this story with you! I know it might sound cliché from the description, but this is based on real-life experiences and I'll definitely try not to make it sound so stereotypical of 'high school' stories.
