“What if it’s not them? What if it’s them telling us the adoption didn’t go through?” Jimin whispered as the phone continued to ring loudly. It was Jungkook who plucked the phone out of Jimin's hand and pressed the talk button. "Hello?" Jungkook answered, and Jimin could hear a faint voice on the other line, but couldn't tell they were saying. "Yes this is the Jeon residence, how may I help you today..." Jungkook continued, and for the first time that day Jimin felt hope swell in him.
