In the liveliness of the hospital room full of people she didn't know, she suddenly realizes something. Hadn’t the ends of her hair been dyed brown? She didn’t remember her hair being completely black. Slowly, the gears in her head start to turn.

“What year is it?”

The male sitting next to her practically snorts. “You weren’t out that long. Just a few weeks. It’s still 2018. And it’s your birthday tomorrow.”

2018?

That meant that she would be she’d be twenty-four in international years. Her thoughts escape faster than she intends, “. I’m old." 

A grin spreads across his face at that, "I'm older than you."

", you're old."

In everyone else's laughter and conversation, she falls silent, thinking. Where was she? The view from the window was green and beautiful, so she doubted that she was in the middle of Seoul. And if she wasn't in the middle of Seoul, how did she get here? 

So a few minutes later when her confusion was swirling in her head, she picks up a scalpel, yanks back the male's head by his hair, and snarls, "Who are you people?"

Her mind is racing and so is her heart. Were they her captors? Was she being kidnapped? Why didn't anything make sense. The other six males jump to their feet at the act of agression, and something in the pit of her stomach curls in on itself. She couldn't even explain her attitude. Since when has she been physically violent?

But she holds the scalpel a little closer to the male's throat, repeating herself. "Who are you?"

"Nari, it's me. Namjoon."

Those words meant nothing to her.
