Leukaemia didn’t exactly run in the family for Im Minhee. The likelihood of a male developing leukaemia as compared to a female as also considerably higher, so hey! What were the chances Im Minhee would develop leukaemia? Well the chance she was going to develop leukaemia was about 1.1%, about 1 in 91. Why should she even worry?

But no. She beat the odds, and managed to get diagnosed with leukaemia anyways. And worse yet, her doctor told her she probably should have gone in to see him a few months ago when she was starting to feel worse. The only solution is to find someone with a matching bone marrow for transplantation, and quick. There was just one problem.

None of her living relatives, which were obviously the most likely source of a matching bone marrow, are a match.

Nobody thought she would survive… Until when she discovered that he had a matching bone marrow.
