Summary: Out of all people in the universe, Chanyeol has to belong to the 20% of people who has the Hanahaki Disease and so, it was his choice whether to bear with the thorns or forget that love has even existed.

NOTES:

La Douleur Exquise (n.)- a french phrase about the exquisite pain of wanting the affection of someone you know but you can never have

Hanahaki disease (n.)- a fictional disease originated in Japan born from one sided/ unrequited love. The victim coughs up flower petals. It may be removed by surgery but the feelings go away with the petals. It can also be cured when the love is requited.

Red String of Fate- a legendary myth that says that a magical red string is tied in a person’s pinky finger and is connected to one’s soulmate. The strings can never be broken.

Pink Daisy- in the language of flowers, this flower may signify pure love, innocence and new beginnings.
