the sapphire internet café, nicknamed 'sapinca' is hidden away in the pockets of the seoul city. a small getaway to play the most popular new game in south korea. owned by an elderly man, he desperately needs employees to help him run the shop. of course, it didn't say in the job description that you couldn't play during the job. work hard, play hard - am i right?

hi ♡ so i've had this plot in my mind for a very long time after watching the king's avatar and it very influenced on the show. the game in this fic is actually based off the premise of the game in the show, even having the same classes and name. i hope you guys enjoy this fic and have fun!

as one of the most highly anticipated releases in south korea's gaming industry, glory swept the country by storm.
the game is a first person shooter in a magical realm in which the avatar is free to join the large variety of classes available; healer, gunner, swordsman, mage, fighters, unspecialised, etc. players may join and create teams to defeat bosses, dungeons or other teams in deathmatches or brawls. it is very much a free-for-all type of game.
unfortunately, glory is only available on the pc and is quite expensive to own glory individually, however, internet cafés' are allowed to let customers play the game using a keycard as their account log in.
