Joy blinked her bleary eyes, leaning back into the couch as she gazed across the small room at Irene and Wendy. She had just walked into the dorm after a long of day of fimling only to find herself accosted by the pair. Irene had grabbed her hand excitedly as Wendy hung nearby, head down, looking abashed for whatever reason. The pair guided her to the couch and were now sitting there, having been entirely wordless for a minute, simply looking at each other and then her. 

"Yah, I just want to sleep. What do you both want?" She finally asked in exasperation.

"Okay. I'll tell you," Irene said firmly. Joy watched as Irene gently took Wendy's hand, sliding it into her lap and holding it. It struck her as intimate. Irene had always been one to enjoy skinship with all the members but this felt different. Tearing her gaze from those hands, she looked up and met Irene's gaze, waiting patiently.

"Something happened while we were in Thailand. Something that may surprise you." Wendy's cheeks flushed red as she looked away, her gaze roaming around the room, looking everywhere except at Joy. Taking in a deep breath, Irene continued. "Seungwan-ah and I are now a couple." She said, her words soft, lips curling into a happy little smile just saying those words.

"I know." Joy said tiredly, her voice emotionless and flat.

Both Irene and Wendy blinked at Joy's sardonic response. They looked back and forth between eachother and Joy, wordless, unsure how to process what they were just told. Finally Irene asked, "Did Yeri tell you already? We told her we wanted to."

With a soft laugh, Joy shook her head, short bobbed black hair swinging dramatically. "I've known you were a couple the past year. You guys just didn't know it." The way that Wendy and Irene's mouths fell open, the looks of astonishment on their faces causing her give a giggle. "Yeri-ah!" she called, the young girl popping around the corner moments later. Raising a hand, she beckoned her over. "I owe you 100,000 won. I never thought they would admit it." Pulling out her purse, she dug out a pair of 50,000 won bills and held them out.

Irene and Wendy could only watch as Yeri bounded across the room and snatched the proffered money before cackling in glee. "Money!" With another cackle the girl fled b ack to her room chanting, "I want to buy meat! I want to buy meat!" Irene shook herself out of shock and finally crumpled over laughing, covering with her hand as she took in the entire situation. It only took a few seconds before that laughter to turn infectious, spreading to both Wendy and Joy.

Finally Joy stood, brushing down the front of her floral patterend skirt as she smiled at the pair. "I am going to bed. I have to be back to the studio in 6 hours and I'd like to get a little bit of sleep." She moved to stand before Wendy and bent down, kissing the older girl on the top of her head. "You're still my number one fan, right?" She was pleased as Wendy looked up, beaming at her and nodding furiously. Satisfied, she gave the pair a last, toothy smile before heading off to her room.

As Joy disappeared into her room, Irene looked at Wendy and smiled. Without saying a word, they leaned into each other, just sitting on the couch together, happily.

Epilogue

Yeri flopped onto her bed, hair drawn back into a blonde ponytail, a heavy sheen of sweat covering her pale skin. Her body ached and feet were sore from dance practice. Sleep was on her mind but was quickly shoved aside as her phone rang, the ringtone letting her know it was Saeron. Grinning, she rolled over and grabbed her phone from the nightstand and answered. "Hey"

"Yeri-ah, you sound tired," came her best friends voice across the phone. She could picture Saerons face, knowing it was full of concern. "How is preparation going? Your comeback is official tomorrow, right?"

"Mmmhmmm. We just finished our last dance practice. Lee Sooman-shi was there giving pointers. He told us Red Flavor was going to hit amazing. With all the word we're putting in, I really hope it does." She always felt nervous when they were having a comeback. Not because she was afraid of the stage, she loved the stage, but because of the inevitable comments she would read online. 

"You sang me some of it and I can already tell it is going to be good. Just promise me something. When you go to read online comments, let me be there with you, okay?" Saeron's words brought a smile to her face, not surprised that she knew was was on her mind. From the moment they met there had been a connection. Something simply clicked, as if their two souls were puzzle pieces designed to fit with each other.

"I will. We'll meet up for," before she could speak another word, the door to the room swung open and Joy peered in, the girls eyes dropping and tired. Bright red hair handing in damp clumps, tendrils lashed across her sweaty brow. 

"Yah, don't go into the living room. They're canoodling again. I'm going to take a shower." With a roll of her eyes, Joy disappeared again, the door shut behind her.

"Yeri-ah?"

"Sorry, Joy was just warning me not to go into the living room. They're up to it again," Yeri said with a wry voice. On the other end of the line, Saeron laughed. She had told Saeron about Wendy and Irene the moment she got back from Thailand. Normally she would keep it secret but she trusted her best friend with even the most intimate of secrets. Saeron had never betrayed her and she felt confident, in the future, it would stay the same.

"I guess Joohyun-shi really is a rabbit? You get it, right?" Yeri laughed but still rolled her eyes at the joke. "If you have any time in the next few weeks, I want to eat with you. Think it can happen?"

"I'm not sure. I never really know our schedule. I'm terrible at keeping track of it. I'll ask Gyoons, though. I'll bribe him with meat if I have to." Yeri felt her tiredness slipping away. Saeron was always like that, an energizer for her. "It's been a few weeks since we've been able to eat together and I'm missing you so much," Yeri confided.

"Me too," Saeron replied, her voice falling low and soft. Yeri felt the flesh along the back of her neck prickle. Something was suddenly amiss with Saeron's tone. There was almost a longing in that short reply. her lips, Yeri rolled over and curled into a tight little ball. "Listen, I have to go already, I just wanted to hear your voice."

"Goodnight, RonRon." They both hung onto the line, neither wanting to be the first to hang up. After 20 seconds of silence, Yeri finally looked at the phone and hit the hang up button. Biting her lip, she pondered their conversation, wondering what was going on with Saeron. There had been a change in the girls voice, something she couldn't quite make out. "I'll ask her when we meet up to eat," Yeri thought to herself before closing her eyes and dozing off.

Authors Notes: And that's a wrap. I hope it was satisfying for everyone. I went through so many re-writes trying to come up with an ending that I liked. Don't worry, LoveUP2! Will happen after the SaeRi story. The SaeRi story will be slightly shorter chapterwise than this one, about 8, but I plan on making longer chapters so it will even out.
