Foreword

Bien... no te muev--

—¿Te has hecho daño?

Apparently it was a quiet morning for eeryone, nothing out of the ordinary or anything to be missed. Bustling streets where just by looking at them from the window of your apartment you could deduce that all went to work or were already working. Opening shops, beginning to cook street food... everyday life's routine, but... Was there an exception? Yes. A person was hiding in the treetops of one of the many parks in the city, waiting patiently for someone to arrive, with a sniper fully ready to be fired.

—There's the target –she whispered, concentrating even more on the peephole and his shot, completely clean–. Well... do not mov--

This person seemed to be talking to someone, she looked serious, but at the most unexpected moment for her, winked, smiled and made the gesture of shoot someone with the hand, a gesture that made it get out of concentration, look up the gun and observe her without help from the image booster.

—Ugh… –she complained as she rose slightly–. Too overacted.

In that movement she had a fateful error. She lost his balance and found himself falling from his hiding place to the floor of the park, unfortunately making enough noise to catch the attention of his victim.

“Me, Kim Yungsun, a trained sniper, is currently sitting on my target’s couch with a broken leg. I fell from a tree... At least I was able to hide my equipment, before she found me”.

—Oh, miss! –She exclaimed after picking up the shrubs she had fallen and was immobilized– What are you doing here?

It was then where she noticed the clothes she wore and her appearance as the sharp pain of her limb cooled slightly. A sharp chin pointed out the woman's cheekbones. His visibly fine makeup face, but equally clear-cut, made to stand up her dark brown eyes. Her hair pretended to be its natural color, but thanks to the brightness of the sun you could clearly see that it was tinged with a dark blue. At that moment she also saw the police plaque hanging from a cord from his neck and her leather gloves she wore that apparently she hadn't even give time to take off. On her shoulders and to protect herself from the cold she wore a beige raincoat typical of any detective while wearing underneath a red shirt and underneath that garment a white background with red stripes decorating it.

On the other hand, Yongsun simply wore a matching dark gray sport pants of the same color hooded sweatshirt. She wasn't letting her see her face, since she was staring at the floor all the time to avoid eye contact.

—Are you hurt? –The detective asked again.

—I think I broke my leg… –Yongsun said without much enthusiasm.

—Where's your family? –She questioned in a routine tone, but without hiding the concern she felt for the stranger.

—Oh... I'm an orphan.

—Where’s your house?

At that question, he made her look up from the floor and look at her, slightly surprised. Then, she replied:

—I'm... homeless –she finally said, closing his eyes and sighing heavily.

—Then, do you want me to take you in? You need a place to rest.

As he said those words, he brought his right hand to the contrary to help her get up as she closed her eyes with serenity and showed a quiet smile. The sniper, surprised, looked straight into the eyes of her victim, feeling a swirl of emotions. Was that all right? She had to kill her. Although it’s also true that it would be a great opportunity to do it, and equally, in a more precise and without leaving any kind of footprints. But, on the other hand, she was offering her a totally disinterested help and she was not used to it. Her tone of voice, her utterly sincere words; were something that had managed to reach fully into her dark interior. Maybe that's why a few tears escaped from her eyes and rolled down her cheeks without any control of her mind. That's why she answered the question after a short period of silence.

—Please…

“Why did I cry !? It was soooo embarrassing…”.

She thought as her rounded face reddened and tightened the muscles of his body to control her emotions, raising the inside of his eyebrows, closing his eyes and smiling somewhat embarrassed.
