A/N: Part 3, Busan, is out! Enjoy! I think I will be extending this from a 3-part fanfic to maybe 5 parts instead cuz ending here really doesn't make sense and it will be a killjoy. I initially wanted the Busan trip to be in pt 2 but I had difficulty writing the details of the trip.

Regarding updates for the next 2 parts, I will most probably have a new chapter ready ever 2 weeks (I know it is long, but just a accountability thing that I am trying these days else I take months to update). But I will update it earlier once I am done with the chapter. "Kyulkyung, come on, why are you standing there? Let's go," the manager beckoned the idol towards her when she didn't hear any footstep behind her.

The younger idol caught up to the long-legged manager, but her gaze was still fixed on the owl keychain dangling on the black bag. That particular memory came flooding in her mind and she was focusing on the face of the young unnie that helped her. Kyulkyung must have been too young that time. The younger sighed internally when the blurry memory did not help her to recognise her benefactor.

"Unnie, have you been to Busan before?" asked the younger, in hopes to distract herself from the failed recollection. Unconsciously, she hooked her arm together with Nayoung and that made the latter startled but relaxed almost immediately. The older knew that the younger is a touchy person and didn't mind too much of their physical contact.

"A couple of times every year. You?" The manager replied in a soft voice instead of a monotonous one, but eyes were looking on the path ahead of them.

"I think once or twice, since I have been in Korea," the younger was thinking so hard.

'It must be that my memory has been bad from the start.' The younger thought to herself.

"The previous trips must not be very memorable then. I shall make this short getaway memorable for you. Let's go." Nayoung said much more enthusiastically and grabbed on Kyulkyung's wrist, leading them to their first destination.

The first stop, Oryukdo Skywalk. It was one of her go to attraction and figured that the idol would be amazed by the view.

"This is Oryukdo skywalk and it is made of glass, so you can look down and see the sea beneath you. The height of the cliff isn't that high, so don't worry. It is pretty much safe, but it is one of a kind experience here. The view is stunning. People come here to take a lot of pretty pictures," said the older manager as in like a tour guide.

"Wait, how tall is that cliff?" asked Kyulkyung as they were approaching the cliff. This made her stood where she was, not wanting to move until she got her answer.

"About 35 meters. Why? asked Nayoung, curiously.

"You said it was fairly short," remarked the younger, slightly frightened at the height.

"Afraid of heights?" asked the manager, now cheekily, amused that the girl next her has her fair share of fears.

"Not really but this looks really high," reasoned the younger.

"Come on it's safe. The walkway is made of a strong glass material. Don't worry, I can pretty much swim," reassured the older as she pretty much dragged the slightly reluctant girl.

As they reached the skywalk, Kyulkyung's fear was replaced by amazement of the stunning view.

"The view here is really nice."

"Of course, it is one of the best here in Busan."

They were now looking out at the view in front of them and younger one was trying to count the number of islands around them.

"There are so many islands here. About 4 right?"

"Yep, there are a total of 5 islands here. At that point, it is where the east and south sea meets. There are many interesting marine life at that point, where the two seas meet," said Nayoung, as she pointed between the 2 islands on their right.

The older manager gestured the younger to pass her phone, "your phone please. I will help you to take pictures."

"Aniya, use yours. So that you will have my picture in your phone," replied the younger and prepared to pose for a cute picture. The manager rolled her eyes and complied to the younger's request. The older one was busy taking pictures for the idol. After a few pictures, the idol gestured her to come over so that they could take a couple of pictures together.

"Manager unnie, your phone please," asked the younger, hands outstretched for her phone. The older passed her phone, thinking that the younger wanted to QC the pictures she took. Instead, the younger was busy typing something on her phone.

"I saved my number," said the younger as she returned Nayoung her phone and told her to send the pictures later.

They were pretty much done with the first attraction after taking loads of picture and were now walking back to their car.

"Next one is also a skywalk, but we are going to see the sunset. It offers the best view there. We can see it here too, but the sea will reflect the light too much, making it look pretty rather than the sunset. Cheongsapo is much higher, about twice the height so brace yourself for the height."

Nayoung told Kyulkyung of their next itinerary and the latter almost grimaced when the next attraction was so much higher but the older laughed it off. The younger smiled slightly, glad that the older was showing much more expression around her. They enjoyed the 30 minutes ride with comfortable silence but with the soft volume of the radio at the background.

"The view of the sunset is really the best. Let's get some drinks. What do you want?" asked the older as they were now walking to the ticket station. There was also a cafe nearby and it was good to rehydrate after their first attraction.

"Iced Americano," replied the younger excitedly, wanting that cool drink and was hoping that Nayoung would choose another drink so she could drink from the same straw.

"Mister, can we have 2 iced americano? Thank you!" The older ordered the same drink as her and that made the idol pout. Her thoughts were distracted by that keychain. She had been thinking about it for a while and figured that the person she was finding had been in front of her. She could make out the same vibe exuded by the younger and older version of Nayoung. After getting their drink, the manager guided the younger girl to her favourite spot to see the sunset. While waiting for the sun to retire, the two were talking about their lives, more like Kyulkyung sharing her TV show experiences, especially the fun variety shows like Kowing Bros. The older manager, on the other hand was enjoying the story, noting how cute the younger was when recounting the event.

"Wow, it's really pretty!" Kyulkyung exclaimed as she sees the sun setting and pointed to it, turning the Nayoung around to look at the view.

Nayoung was glad that the younger liked it and stared at the sky. The sky was indeed beautiful, the rays calming her racing heart.

"Unnie," the younger called out to her.

The unnie turned around and saw the younger looking at her. Her heart skipped a beat. The younger girl looked beautiful under the orangey-red sunlight.

"Unnie, can I ask you a question?" This time, the younger was courageous.

She nodded and gulped as she prepared for the next conversation. The younger seemed rather serious.

"Are you... the person who helped me back then?" the idol asked carefully but being slightly vague in case it wasn't the answer she was hoping to hear.

For Nayoung, she didn't expect Kyulkyung to catch on it so quickly. She was surprised but managed to put on a calm facade, and asked, "how did you know?"

"Your keychain and you look really similar and your voice still sound quite similar. I was too young back then but I have a feeling it’s you," explained the younger and the gladness can be seen once she knew that the person was indeed her manager unnie.

"Oops. You've caught me."

"Omo, I have found you! It has been 8 years!" Kyulkyung lunged forward and hugged Nayoung tightly, not wanting to let her go anytime soon.

"Why didn't you tell me?" said the idol and she started to tear. She was so emotional. The person who motivated her to do well and debut was right in front of her and yet she didn't recognise her benefactor until now.

Alright, calm down little girl," the older awkwardly patted the younger's head and her head to calm the girl down.

"Sorry, I'm just very emotional. This is really important to me. Thank you. Thank you for helping me and indirectly motivating me to do well for my debut," the younger whispered into the older's ear and that sent shivers down the other girl's spine.

"I didn't do much, it was all you, but you are welcome?" Nayoung was trying to phrase her words rather coherently while awkwardly patting on her back instead.

After the lovely reunion, the younger was getting much touchier and too friendly around Nayoung and this made the older confused but shook everything off. This time, she just led the younger to the south of the walkway, to the harbor village of Cheongsapo for a seafood dinner.

The younger was looking through the menu and decided to order for the both of them, but she still asked Nayoung for her recommendation and preferences. Soon, they decided on a grilled BBQ seafood platter. During the dinner, Nayoung was busy grilling the food, putting the grilled food onto the other girl’s plate. As Kyulkyung noticed that Nayoung wasn’t eating, she made a huge wrap and placed it in front of the older. The older shook her head in response to her gesture and signalled her to eat.

"Say ahhhh, unnie," said Kyulkyung, as in she was feeding a little child.

Feeling embarrassed, the older quickly take a huge bite and savored the sweetness of the wrap made by the young idol. She nodded her head to tell the younger that the food was good and the younger understood the gesture. The two ate their dinner and enjoyed the night, with a beautiful view of the night sky and the sea.

After they were done with dinner, the manager was texting the other managers to tell them that she is bringing the young idol back soon.

"Let's go back," said the manager as she pulled the younger girl, who didn't want to go home.

"Unnie, just a while more, please.”

“I told the other managers that we will be back in 3 hours and it is getting late."

"There is a pretty pink light house. Just a quick stroll."

While they were walking on the sand, the younger shivered as the chilly wind was blowing past her. The older manager took out her extra windbreaker and put it around the younger's frame. The younger blushed but she thanked God that nobody could see it in the dark. As they walked, their hands brushed against each other and that sent electricity down both Nayoung’s and Kyulkyung's spine. The younger wanted to grab hold of the older’s hand, but the manager was fast enough to put her hands behind her back, picking up her pace. The younger sighed internally but she was determined to make this more than just a work relationship.

After the stroll, both were in the car, ready to drive back. During the ride, many thoughts came to the manager's and idol's minds. Both were sure of their feelings for each other. However, Nayoung was trying to be professional, putting a distance between them since it wasn't right to date an idol as a manager and even the future heiress of Pledis. On the other hand, Kyulkyung wanted more, she was sure that Nayoung is the right person for her. From what it seemed to be a long ride, with an awkward atmosphere around them, they finally reached the carpark of Pristin's apartment complex.

"Thank you for tonight. Goodnight, you don't have to send me to my doorstep," Kyulkyung quickly gave a peck on her cheek, before getting out of the car, and hurriedly disappeared into the lobby.

Nayoung was stunned but her hand reached out to the spot that the younger gave and that warmed her heart. Maybe it will be hard to stop whatever she had planned to do.
