Noel frowns. It is five minutes to 8 a.m. and there is no sign of Joy...It has never happened. Though she feels fatigue, she will wake up to get Namjoon his coffee, then falls asleep again.

She gets worried. What if the girl is unwell?! Yesterday was no easy on her!! She quickly proceeds towards Joy's room. She should have checked earlier...

The bedroom door is not locked so she enters to find...

Noel's mouth hangs open. There are three people...more like two and a half people sleeping on the bed.

"Namjoon?!" She quips.

His arm is wrapped around Joy and they are sharing a single pillow. Aera is snuggling with Joy as she always does and they look like any small, regular family. Noel slowly leaves the room without any sound and with a shocked mind. 

Aera blinks. She yawns and rubs her eyes cutely. She pouts at the absence of the warmth around her. Oh well...today she has woken up on her own. Her Jooyy will be so happy!! 

But there is something different today...Aera is smart so she can understand. She looks around to find her Nemjjun Unkeel sleeping beside her. She tilts her head and sits up. Joy is not here...

Namjoon frowns. A very light touch...yes. He can feel it, on his cheek. His head is pounding. He opens his eyes with difficulty and finds Aera's face beaming at him. It seems she has just woke up...

"Goood mon-ing!! Unkeel!!" She smiles.

"Hmmm..." He replies and rubs his temples. It does not feel like a 'good morning' at all...

"Oh no! Unkeel! are you shik?!" She gasps. She carefully caresses his cheek again. Worry reflects from her tiny eyes.

Before Namjoon can reply, Joy comes out of the bathroom.

"Oh you two are awake?!" She smiles.

"Yesh!! Jooyyy Unkeel is shik!!" Aera points at Namjoon.

Joy frowns slightly and looks at him. 

He shakes his head and winces. "It's just my head..." he replies hoarsely.

"Oh." Joy has understood, "Please lie down and I'll get something to soothe your headache..."

"No...I have to go to the office...what...what time is it?" Namjoon sits up and massages his temples.

"It...it is past 10 a.m." She looks at the clock and feels a bit sheepish. Hopefully he will not be mad...

Namjoon rolls his eyes in irritation. Great. He is late.

"Umm...you can call and inform them..." Joy suggests.

"Hmmm..." Namjoon looks for his cell but then remembers that it is in his room.

"You can use mine...or the telephone...I... I was saying that if you can take a break today...I mean it will be good for you..." She murmurs.

Namjoon frowns and think for sometimes. He takes the telephone and calls his secretary. After talking for a while and taking updates, he disconnects.

"I will not have to go to work today. My secretary will be sending some files...receive them..." He sighs.

Joy nods, "Sure!....Aera, Today you don't have classes. Brush your teeth and I'll set the breakfast...what will you have?" She walks towards the bed and takes the girl in her arm.

"Ummm...ceral!!" Aera chimes.

"Okay then!!" She looks at Namjoon who is watching their interaction with amusement, "You should freshen up..."

He nods once and leaves for his room.

After a wash, he walks into the dining room to find...no one. No one as in Joy and Aera...He sees a maid just setting the table.

"Where is...where is Aera...?" He hides his diappointment and wish to ask about Joy.

"Oh! Good morning Mr. Kim. Mrs. Joy and Aera are having breakfast in the kitchen.

He frowns, "I'll have my breakfast there as well..."

He walks to the kitchen. He has NO idea what he is doing. But he has been 'friendly' with the two girls much more...He really wants to know why...

"Do you want some more?" Joy asks.

"Yeshh pweesh...more jush..." Aera raises her glass with her both hands. She thanks her for the juice.

A cough gains their attention.

"Unkeel!" Aera smiles.

Joy answers quickly," Oh! Your stu is being ready. Please wait..." 

Noel had already started preparing one. Now all it takes for it to be cooked for some more minutes...

"Okay..." With that he moves to sit at the table.

Joy looks at him confused.

Namjoon speaks as if understanding her question, "I'll eat here..."

"Yayyy!! Unkeel will hev bekfasht with me!!!!!!" Aera cheers.

Joy is quite surprised and proceeds to get him his breakfast.

The three people are sitting around the small round table in the middle of the kitchen. Eating their own food. Joy is glancing at Namjoon who is eating at his own pace. He looks up to see Aera still eating her cereal and Joy...she is chewing some dry crackers and taking sips of something.

"Is that...is that your breakfast?"

Joy looks up to see the question was directed towards her. "Ummm..."

"Jooyy not eat bekfasht...She eat craka and gin-ger ali at fir-st." Aera answers for her.

Namjoon looks at Joy in confusion, "I thought it was for the first three months..."

"Oh, well, my morning sickness is never regular. Though the hard time is over, I still feel a bit queasy just after waking up..." She replies taking a sip.

"Is that all you have for breakfast?"

She can trace an air of worry in his tone. Her heart swells a bit with happiness.

"No! I will have something when I'll feel fine..." She smiles a little.

'Yesh! Somethin hilthy..." Aera nods with her forefinger raised like an elderly woman.

"Okay Grandmama..." Joy chimes and Aera giggles.

Namjoon smiles faintly.

They do not realize there is a figure standing at the door, observing them. Noel has come to check if the hangover cure was cooked. She walks to the doorway and gets the second shock of the morning. A small family infront of her. They are having breakfast together, Namjoon asking about Joy's health, they are laughing at Aera's cuteness... So normal... She stays at the door. She does not have the heart to disturb this beautiful picture...

"I need to send an email to my professor... and then shower. Please excuse me..." Joy stands up to leave.

Aera stands up as well and kisses her bump, making Joy giggle. She walks out of the kitchen, leaving Namjoon with the girl.

"Yu know I saw baby yesh-ta-day!! I dont undrs-tand then Noil Aunty make me!!! It is diffi-rent!! It is on a black boa-rd!! I'll show u!!" Aera jumps out of her chair and rushes to get the sonography before Namjoon can say anything.

She is back quickly and tries to take it out of the envelope. Namjoon, though with no intention or idea about this situation, helps her brfore she tears off the envelope.

"Dere!! Look! Baby-ah!! Hullo baby-ah!!" Aera waves her hand to the plate.

Namjoon looks at the plate. It is like a negative with some greyish patterns done on it. 

Aera can understand his confusion.

"Look!! Here is baby head, nose, lips, ears, eyes, leg, tummy..." She points out exactly the way Noel has explained.

Now Namjoon can also figure out the picture. The features are clear now and...

He feels...very different. Something he is never used to...a very different kind of feeling. It is like a bottle is burst within him and the fluid inside it is spreading to every cell of his body, warming him up.

"Oh!" He exhales loudly before he can control.

"Yesh!! Noel aunty said that in only one, two, thr-ee" She counts on her fingers, "Thr-ee months the baby will be here!! You know where thee baby is?! mem-ber I tell you??" She asks excitedly.

Namjoon recalls that night when she came to give him  the cake and announce Joy's pregnancy. He nods.

"Baby-ah likes me!! I also likes baby-ah!! Jooyy say I'll be an unni or a noona!! What I will be....?" She taps her finger thoughtfully on her chin.

Here is another outstanding thing about Bae Aera...Namjoon can sit and listen to her with NO annoyance.

"It is ok!! I'll love Baby-ah berry muchhhh!!!" She cheers. She drinks her last sip.

"I'll go and put oil on Jooyy tummy now!!! I do that aft-er she bath!!" She gets off the chair. " When I do that the baby-ah says hi!! and move!!! So nice!!" She looks back at Namjoon and hugs his leg again, "I'll see you soon...let us sweep again tog-ther..." She bounces out of the kitchen.

Namjoon looks at his empty bowl and sighs. Well, that is an eventful yet quiet morning. He has not yet said anything about last night. He can recall many parts of it but still should have a talk with Joy...
