Joy enters the kitchen and puts her hand on her heart. It feels like it will burst open. She...did it!! She faced Namjoon and was not afraid at all!! It feels so...

"Joy! Yes, Cheonsa...she is back!" Noel looks up at her from her phone. She must have been very tensed that she ended up calling their friend. "Yes, I will put the phone on the speaker...No there is no one else here...You are right. We should go to her room..." She tugs Joy's hand.

They are in her room.

"Okay...Joy what has happened? What did he say?" Noel asks urgently.

"Well I told him he had two options...Either he would let me stay or divorce me, either way I am having the baby..."

"So what he said...?" Cheonsa on the line asks.

"He said I am not getting a divorce, even if I want to have the baby..."

The ladies make a sound of relief but

"...And the baby shall be taken care of as a payment..." Joy smiles bitterly.

"Jerk!!" Noel snorts.

"Okay...even if his reasonings are...well disappointing but look at it as a chance Joy..." Cheonsa explains, "I know the arrival of the baby is so sudden and all but it can help you...how? that is up to you..."

"Yes Aunty...Because if I am staying here I want my child to have a complete family with a father..." Joy nods.

"So all settled out!! You just relax and take care of yourself. No unnecessary worries okay?" She says lightly.

"Yes...Oh it is almost time for Aera's school!! I will go and wake her up! The poor thing must have got really scared seeing me like that last night..." Joy walks out to Noel's room.

Noel has been quiet throughout the conversation.

"Cheonsa...do you actually think she can make him fall for her...?" She asks doubtfully.

"Anything can happen, Noel. All we can do is hope for the best and help her as much as we can..." Cheonsa sighs.

"I don't know if he can ever forget Irene..." Noel wonders.

"The thing here is not about remembering or forgetting Irene...It is about forming a present and future with Joy...and now their child as well..." Cheonsa answers. 

"Well I hope it will help her sleep..." The doctor informs Seokjin.

Irene is currently 7 months pregnant and is on bed-rest. Her health...more-like her mental health is deteriorating. 

"She has been suffering from chronic depression and her pregnancy is not aiding at all...I've prescribed some medicines but they will not do any better if she herself does not want to...Taking such pills is not good for the baby."

Seokjin looks at the sleeping figure on the bed. She has slept finally after months of sleepless nights.

"She seems to be eating well but her insomnia and anxiety are causing issues...What is she so anxious about? As it concerns her, don't mind me asking, but is there anything wrong between you two?" He enquires.

Seokjin shakes his head and smiles sarcastically,"There is nothing between us..."

The doctor frowns in confusion and continues," Anyways, try to keep her happy and relaxed. It affects your baby..."

"Doctor...I try. Believe me I do but nothing seems to make her happy except..." His face contours with hatred and disgust at the reminder of that 'man'. He can never be over the fact that no matter what he did, he cannot even bring her an essence of that true happiness which she gets from a single glance at Namjoon's face...

Namjoon is staring at his plate. They have got the project they were working on for so long and there was a party to celebrate it. He rarely ever attends parties except if they are crucial for the business' image and betterment. So he just showed up for few minutes as a formality and left. Since he is home early, Joy and Noel has joined him for dinner as well.

"Why are you not eating?" Noel asks.

"I am not much hungry." He is actually worried about Irene. He had seen the doctor stepping out of the Kim mansion. Also she has not visited Aera for a month now...

"Excuse me." He gets up to his room.

"He looks worried...He should be happy. They got the project after such hard work." Joy wonders.

Namjoon's driver informed them about the office party.

"There can be one reason, the biggest, you are forgetting." Noel snorts.

Joy looks at her questioningly.

"He must have heard about or seen the doctor infront of Young mistress Irene's home. That caused him tension." She explains.

Joy looks at her surprised.

"Don't be so surprised!! I've practically raised that man Joy!! I know and can understand a lot of things about him which he himself may not know..." She shakes her head.

Joy looks down at her plate. Her appetite has been low and now it has completely diminished.

"Eat something Joy. You should not be so surprised or sad...You know how it is. Take care of yourself. Your health should be your priority now." Noel states without looking up from her plate.

Joy takes the spoon and scoops the food in which taste like paper to her... 

"Come in..." Namjoon knows who is knocking. But at this hour...

Joy enters with a tray. There are some crackers and peanut butter and a mug.

Namjoon looks at her frowning.

"Well...you did not have your dinner. So I thought you should not go to sleep empty stomach. She glances at the bottle of alcohol on the table.

"Hmmm...okay. I had to tell something..." He says. "We got the project we were working on. There was a party tonight..."

Joy nods knowingly.

"So there is going to be an architect who will design the community centre. The site has no living facility there and the nearest hotel is almost 3 hours from it...So he will be staying here till the job is completed. Cuz from here, it takes less than 30 minutes to reach the place..."

Joy absorbs the information.

"Inform Noel aunty about it. I should have told that during dinner but..." He gazes out the window.

Joy knows very well whom he has been thinking about and muses at how much Noel actually knows Namjoon...

"Anyway, he'll come here with me in the evening from the site. Prepare one of the guestrooms by then and Make sure there will be no shortening in his hospitality..." He picks up a cracker from the plate.

"Yes. Don't worry. I will tell Noel aunty first thing in the morning and we'll take care of everything."

"Okay...what is that?" He points at the mug.

"Oh it is chamomile tea. It is good for...relaxing and sleeping." She says quietly peeking at his alcohol.

Namjoon rolls his eys."Okay then you can leave now..."

"Good night..." She leaves and turns to close the door to see Namjoon picking up the mug and taking a sip.

She smiles and walks back to her room. Hopefully this will help his insomnia and reduce his drinking habit...
