Today Yoongi was surprised to find the studio empty this weekend. Normally either Hoseok or Namjoon haunted the place with either loud pop music or hardcore explicit rap songs there was no in between.

Yoongi dropped his bag and sat in his designed desk (which Hoseok liked to occupy when Yoongi wasn't here) and got his laptop out to check on the pictures he had taken a week ago. Pictures of Jimin on the festival day. It had been a week, he thought to himself. Him and Jimin had been back together for a week now. It felt amazing and he prayed he wouldn't up this second chance.

The laptop started up and Yoongi first went to his email inbox (out of habit). He scrolled through the ads and the notification emails about new comments, views and other blog posts he might be interested in. Among the sea of admiring emails, one had been read but yet to be replied. He hovered the cruiser above the name for a moment before he clicked the mail.

Haneul CHO

Now, Yoongi may not have the best memory in the world but he did remember Hoseok saying this name multiple times whenever he mentioned the meetings he had with this one company that was so keen on buying his designs.

Following the name of the sender was a paragraph-long message basically telling Yoongi that he had been selected as an intern for the photography team of the company and that he should respond asap for the position.

Yoongi was thrilled, of course, that was until he read the note at the bottom telling him the internship training would be in Japan. For 6 months.

Heck, he wasn't about to leave everything behind for that long, not with everything starting to fall back into places and he was happy.

The studio door creaked open and Hoseok came in with a cup of coffee in his hand. He smiled when he saw Yoongi, and then his smile lessened when he spotted the mail Yoongi was reading. Call it whatever but Yoongi had a conspiracy theory that Hoseok secretly wasn't human. Like, he knew things people never told him, he was in a good mood all the time, he was too talented, and his music taste was that of a teenage girl. Weird but Yoongi held his belief firmly: Hoseok maybe an extraterrestrial being.

"Aren't you going to reply to that anytime soon?" Hoseok murmured.

Yoongi minimized the window and went back to his Photoshop application. He wanted to keep on retouching the photos but he couldn't just ignore the ominous glances his friend was giving him so he turned around, sighing,

"I'm not going to take that offer."

Hoseok didn't seem surprised. In fact, he looked like he had expected it.

"Is it because of Jimin?" He asked instead.

Jimin, yes. Oh god, Yoongi realized with horror that his life revolved around Jimin now. He didn't want to go on an internship training for 6 months in another country because he didn't want to leave Jimin behind.

"Maybe..."

"Yoongi," Hoseok took in a deep breath. "He will understand."

"No, that's not it. I know he'll understand. It's just—Hoseok, he hates what he's doing with his life now and I can't just leave him alone when I'm fully aware he's miserable like this."

"You just have to trust him that he'd look after himself. Jimin is a whole person on his own, Yoongi. No matter how much you want to protect him, you need to let him protect himself too."

He knew that. Of course Yoongi knew that. But he couldn't stop himself from feeling so guilty whenever he thought about the fact that his Jimin woke up every day feeling like because he was surrounded with people he didn't want to be surrounded with, pursuing a major he didn't like and he had no way of protesting because even when he never specifically said it, Yoongi still got the clues that Jimin's family wasn't exactly the do-what-you-love-we-will-support you type.

"Yoongi?"

"I know, Hoseok. I know," Yoongi pulled the laptop shut and sighed into his palm. "6 months, dude."

"Why, half a year is just a blink of an eye."

"I wasted so much time before. I don't want to be away from him for another 6 months. I had enough,"

"But if he knows you refuse this chance just for him, he'll probably be more upset than you telling him you'll go abroad for 6 months. I know Jimin, dude, and he's not selfish."

Gosh, Yoongi knew that too. Selfish? His Jimin? Never.

"Tell him, Yoongi." Hoseok nudged.

Yoongi nodded.

"Also," his friend added, "My contract was finalized last week. I'm officially a designer."

Yoongi smiled and tapped his friend on the shoulder, "I'm so proud of you!"

"Thanks, my friend."

-

Yoongi looked up at the tall building located in the middle of Seoul. He had been standing outside the address embedded in the email sent by Haneul Cho and needless to say, he got dizzy just seeing people coming in and out of the building. He wondered if he had to work with so many people because dear god help his introvert soul, Yoongi would likely be dead before he even started that training.

He went inside.

He walked straight to the information desk, the receptionist stood up to greet him.

"How may I help you?"

"Uh, I'm here to see Miss Haneul Cho?"

He didn't get why he had to make that a question. The lady didn't quite know what to do at first, but then she picked up the phone and spoke, very quietly though Yoongi could still hear some words, about something like 'Miss Skylar changed her last name?' and then 'a man is here to see her', 'yes, yes' and ended with 'understand'.

The lady smiled at Yoongi and instructed him on which floor he should go to.

Yoongi went up to the 5th floor where then an (he assumed) assistant welcomed him and led him to a waiting room. He waited with a cold glass of water for about 5 minutes before a woman, in her late 20s or early 30s, came in and greeted him with a professional smile.

She sat down across him and immediately handed him a folder of what seemed to be pictures and catalogs and even some project planning??

Yoongi looked at her, confused. She looked back, blinking, for a moment no one said anything. And then she clapped, finally remembered, and reached out her hand,

"Hi, sorry. I'm Haneul, Project Manager. I'm glad you can finally make it."

"Thank you for being so understanding. You know, for not replying for 2 weeks."

"Well, at least you replied now~" Haneul gestured at the folder still in Yoongi's grasp. "I'll make it short. JS Corp is, um, branching out. We are settling up a talent agency and we are putting together a team of talented individuals such as photographers, editor, creative content producers, models, basically everything else that JS Corp has yet to step our feet in." She said. "And I believe you've read my email. We want to train you, to be a professional."

Yoongi nodded.

"So what is your rate?"

"...my what?"

"Your rate." She repeated. "How much do you normally charge per photoshoot?"

Yoongi panicked. What rate? He'd been doing everything free of charge this whole time!

"Uh..." Should he be arrogant and name a high price or should he sit down and be humble and just say things the way they actually were? "Actually..."

"Don't worry. We will not hold anything against you here. You can speak freely. This is a meeting, after all, not an interrogation."

Yoongi gulped. "I do things for free,"

She nodded. "We offer a salary for interns here so you do not have to be worried not being able to feed yourself while you're training with us. After the 6-month course ended, we'll evaluate your performance and see whether your qualities fit with our agency. If they do, you will be hired and we will discuss everything from scratch."

Already, Yoongi could see himself falling deeper for this offer. There was literally no flaws here it was like a god-sent gift!

"You can take your time to consider," Haneul said after a moment. "The contract is attached in the folder. Feel free to get back to us at any time convenient for you."

Yoongi flipped through the pages to the last one where he found a half-a-page contract with only 3 articles.

Justin and Skylar Agency, herein referred to as JS Agency, hereby offers a 6-month trainee contract to Mr. Yoongi MIN, herein referred to as Mr. Min.

JS Agency and Mr. Min have mutually agreed to the following terms and conditions:

1. Properly complete the 6-month course (and the requirements within it);

2. Meet the assignment deadlines;

3. Willing to work in teams and overseas.

Yoongi gapped. That was it??

Haneul clapped once and stood up. "Nice meeting you, Mr. Min. Hope to hear from you soon."

She was almost out of the door when she turned back and called. Yoongi skipped his way to her feeling his heart in his ears because of how scared he was thinking she might suddenly change her mind.

But she only asked,

"Since you've worked with models for your showroom before, do you happen to have a model or two to recommend?"

"Rec-recommend?"

"Yes. Similar to putting up a team of photographers, we are also recruiting our own in-house models. It's a start so I don't want to fund big names—they can be very arrogant. I want some new faces, some fresh rookies. They'll learn better and, you know, easier to look after."

The only name popped into Yoongi's head was Jimin. Well, Jimin, Namjoon and Taehyung.

"I know a few," he told her. "3, to be exact. They're my... they're my best friends."

"Perfect." Haneul smiled. "No need for them to audition. You can just send me their pictures and contact numbers. I'll have the team review them."

"Thank you so so much, Ms. Cho! I'll email you as soon as I get back!"

Haneul waved as Yoongi practically racing out of the place.

As soon as the young photographer was out of sight, Haneul's expression shifted to a frown. She remembered being specifically told (nagged at, even) by her little brother there would be two models: Kim Namjoon and Kim Taehyung. She wondered who the third one would be.

A tall boy peeked his head out of the room next door and grinned at Haneul.

"Did he suspect anything, noona?"

Haneul t
