Senior year was Yoongi's high school life redemption year.

It had been months since what happened, and slowly Yoongi learned to move on. Jin and him never once mentioned Jimin again for the sake of Yoongi's mental state.

School had started for about 2 months now and Yoongi had socialized more with his classmates and schoolmates. He participated more in school activities, he joined an art club as an active member, and most importantly he did all his homework by himself and managed to get a decent amount of sleep.  

Though, something changed about Yoongi as a person. He started having coffee more than water. And he took extra classes to prepare for college entrance exam, and on his short spare time, he managed to take photography short courses. Every aspect of his life had improved noticeably. He was good at improvement. Everything he did turn out so well. Just recently, one of his photography course teachers recommended a pretty good agency to him.

But Yoongi wanted his senior year to be just him learning and only that.

Jin was happy for his best friend. Seeing how he learned to smile more and he talked more, Jin felt like this was the first time he had seen Yoongi being light and genuinely enjoying himself.

The first semester whizzed by in a blink and once the second semester slide in, everyone started to get a little anxious. The pressure of getting into a good university caused every senior student to pull all-nighter 6 days a week just to make it through some extra classes. 

Jin and Yoongi didn't get to see each other much often as they used to. Since Jin was aiming for International Relation and Yoongi aiming for a scholarship in Digital Media or whatever there was available on the creative side. The scholarship was harder to get for someone with average GPA like Yoongi, but a hopeful Yoongi and a trustful Jin could move heaven with their belief.

Jin took his college entrance exam with Yoongi cheering for him in the snow. It was cute and touching when Jin came out and saw his small best friend all shivering and his rosy face was covered except for his eyes.

"How was it??" Yoongi paved through the snow to get to his best friend. His footprints in the snows made Jin's chest ache a bit.

"I think I might get in-"

Yoongi started cheering so loud, the nearby students had to look their way with judgemental eyes. Jin chuckled at how cute his best friend was, and then the smile disappeared.

"If I get in, it'll be hard to keep in touch since your uni will be on the other side of the country," Jin said.

Yoongi stopped jumping and considered, "You're saying like I already got in."

"You'll get it, punk. I know you will."

"I haven't heard from them yet. Maybe my application got lost along the way?"
