This is it.
It’s happening.
They are graduating.
Inhae looked at her mother that was in tears, hugging her as a couple of sniff could be heard.
“I’m so proud of you. You’ve grown up.”
“It’s just high school, mom…I still have college after this.” Inhae had sighed.
Her mother had of course just smiled, not even amused by her daughter’s lack of emotion and hugged her one more time.
It was hard saying goodbyes to her friends. They were all busy crying and making promises – Inhae just shook her head at that. She had hugged Seulgi, thanking her for everything and the girl sniffed in tears, hugging her back.
The class gathered around for one last time and agreed on taking the class selfie, posing in front of the camera.
Jongin happened to sit in front of her, grinning to the camera and Inhae tried really hard not to stare at him.
What was it now?
Is it really over for her?
Inhae smiled bitterly to herself.
“Don’t worry, I will send the pictures to you guys later.” The class president murmured.
Inhae didn’t bother on staying for another picture and just stand on the side. Her eyes naturally went to Jongin, staring at how he seemed so happy for the camera and her heart swell.
She’s going to miss him so much.
That stupid laugh of his.
That stupid eye smile of his.
That stupid voice of his.
That stupid face of his.
That stupid smirk of his.
Those stupid eyes of his.
That stupid him.
Everything about him.
Him.
Just him.
She’s going to miss him so bad.
Can she just walks to him and hugged him for the last time and said that she missed him so much? That she was so sorry for not acknowledging him and that she was sorry for not being friend with him?
That she was in love with him?
No. She couldn’t.
Because she knew that he doesn’t feel the same way.
And it hurts so much.
