- Han Seohee's POV -

"So, what happened over the weekend?" I asked Herin. We had some time left to kill before Mirae joined us for lunch today, so we might as well use it to talk about her. "Well, when I mentioned dance class and why she was dancing with Jungwoo she just brushed it off. Then I asked her a bit later if she was going to get tutored by Donghyun this semester and she told me that she'd rather not talk about him at the moment," Herin responded back. 

"That's weird......I'll talk to Jaehyun later today to see if this friend of his is actually Donghyun," I told Herin. She just nodded her head since there wasn't much else we could do. Once Mirae came by we avoided talking about Donghyun. We ate our lunch and chatted for a while to waste some time. 

"We should get going to class," Mirae said looking at her phone. We got up and left for class.

Once everyone arrived we got started with practicing the tango. Mirae has partnered up with Jungwoo once again and Donghyun was with some other girl.  Mark, Herin, Jihoon, and Koeun were out running an errand for the teacher. She asked them to go to the music room to get some instruments for her music class later today. Once they came back I saw Herin with Jihoon.

"What's up with that?" Woojin asked as he noticed the same thing as I did. I shrugged my shoulders. Once the four were done talking to the teacher Herin sat down on the side with Jihoon beside her, while Mark and Koeun went back to dancing. "Since when were Mark and Koeun partners?" I asked. Woojin responded back with a shrug.

Once class was over I decided to go to Mirae first. I wanted to make sure she wouldn't run off again. As I was going to her I noticed Donghyun walk towards her as well. Before he could catch up to her she rushed out the door. "Damn," I heard him mutter under his breath. I sighed and shook my head, I was too slow again.

I turned around to meet up with the rest of my friends. Jihoon and Woojin surrounded Mark and Herin. "Just leave me alone," Herin said as she brushed past Mark. She walked passed me and I gave Woojin a 'what happened' looked. He shrugged his shoulders and motioned me to follow Herin. I left the class and I ran, trying to catch up to Herin. "Yo, what happened?" I asked her. "Nothing." She responded back.

"Come on Herin, it's obviously not nothing," I told her. She didn't respond back. "Why are you mad at Mark?" I asked.

"I don't want to talk about it!" She exclaimed. She was obviously irritated and was not in the mood. She kind of surprised me with the sudden outburst and she noticed it with the shocked expression on my face. "I'm sorry...... I didn't mean to yell at you......" she said. I shook my head and smiled, "It's okay. Just promise me when you're ready to talk, you will. Okay?" I told her. She just nodded her head in response.

Once I walked Herin home I checked my phone. I didn't get any messages from Jihoon or Woojin. Instead of bothering them at the moment I decided to message Jaehyun. I wanted to meet up with him to make sure that Donghyun was the friend he was talking about. Instead of getting a message back from him, I received a call from him.

"Hello," I said over the phone.

"Sorry, I can't meet up at the moment since I'm working on a paper. But I can talk over the phone," he told me.

"Oh, if you're busy this can wait another day," I told him.

"It's fine. I'm kind of struggling with what to write at the moment and I'm bored out of my mind," he told me. I couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, okay," I responded back. 

"So what's up?" 

"Oh, well the other day......when you were talking about your friend, was Donghyun this friend?" I asked him. 

"Yeah.....he thinks Mirae is ignoring him. Do you know why?" 

"No. I' trying to figure out why, but she keeps avoiding the topic...." I told him. "Damn........" he responded back. 

"Yeah, I want to help her and make sure everything is alright with her and Donghyun but I don't know how......and on top of that my other friend is upset about something as well," I told him. 

"Herin right?" he asked.

"Yup. I don't know what happened between her and her boyfriend but it's obviously upsetting her. I want to make sure she's okay too. I kind of feel useless right now. My friends are upset and struggling and here I am, not able to do anything to help or cheer them up....." I confessed to him. 

"Don't feel that way. You're not useless, and don't very think that way. You're trying your best, and I think once everything passes they'll be grateful that they have you as a friend who worries about them and only wants the best," he told me. I couldn't help but smile, "Thanks."

"No need to thank me, I'm just stating facts. You're an amazing person Seohee. Don't stress too much, I'm sure you'll be able to figure something out. What you should do now is relax. Why don't you take a warm shower or light up a candle."

"Thanks for the advice, I'll probably do both. And Jaehyun, you're an amazing person too!" I told him. I heard him laugh over the phone. "Really? Well if an amazing person like you thinks that, I must've done something right in my life," he said. I shook my head and laughed, "I should get going, you need to finish up a paper anyways," I told him.

"What! No, don't hang up," he whined over the phone. "Bye Jaehyun," I said laughing. I hung up the phone and headed back home. Once I got home I did what Jaehyun recommended. I took a warm shower and lit up a scented candle in my room.
