“You have got to be kidding me?” Yuri exclaimed as she took Minhyuks phone from his hand

“Noona”

“Don’t noona me, I told you everyone but her Minhyukha! I know her and she’s been around, like around around!” emphasizing on the last word to get her point across

“Really?”

“Aish! Seriously! Why would I even joke about something like this?” She slouched on the couch and threw Mnhyuks phone to him who was sitting just beside her

“Okay chill! Here are the drinks and let’s talk about something else” Yonghwa butted in

He began pouring the wine on the glasses that were laid in front of him

“Not too much for me oppa”

He angled his head and smiled “Wae?”

“If you must know, I came here alone and I’m driving myself home”

“I can drive you home”

She chuckled “Our house are completely situated at both ends of this city, I won’t expect you to drive me home then drive back to your house”

“I can sleep over at your house” his brows wiggled, obviously teasing her

“Yeah you can, and you can sleep right beside Ppoppo”

“Oh Come on Seohyun, relax and enjoy, I’ll take you home, it’s okay with me”

“No thank you! But I will ask for a second glass, that’s as much as I think  I can tolerate”

“Okay fine, dropping the subject now”

It was Minhyuk and Seohyuns birthday and they all decided to celebrate it sans Jonghyun who was shooting a drama, Sooyoung who was out of the country for a photoshoot and Taeyeon who will come later. They try to get together every now and then, just to catch up on each other’s lives. They have a group chat but they’re so busy they don’t have a chance to check on it regularly.

The friendship that blossomed form Yonghwa and Seohyuns WGM stint was no joke, as it earned them the truest friends they could ever have in their line of work. It also helped that their promotion over the years has coincide, giving them more opportunity to mingle and hang out with each other.

“It so funny how fans call us twins” Minhyuk spoke as his fingers slide on his phone screen reading the greetings fans posted on SNS.

“II like it, at least I have a brother, better yet a twin to celebrate birthdays with” Seohyun answered, leaning her body and tucking her feet on her side. “I like birthdays like this, no work, just good food and drinks to share with great friends”

“Yeah Yeah whatever!” Hyoyeon came bouncing in with food with Yoona in tow who was laughing at something with Jungshin

“Oi! What is it!?”

They both look at Minhyuk

“I was just telling Yoona about the drunken night you had with Seunggi sunbaenim”

“Must you really tell her that?”

“She’s the ex!”

Everyone howled and laughed at the answer

“RED CARD LEE JUNGSHIN!” Sunny shouted

Yoona turned livid in seconds and whacked Jungshin

“AWWWW!”

“That’s just the beginning, I’ll make sure you’re full of bruise once this party is over” Yoona threatened him as she continue to smack him

“Where’s the cake?” Sunny asked

“I got it!” Tiffany then came into view with two cakes, one cake each on both hands, Jungshin  who was the closes met her and took one of the cake.

They put the cake in front of Minhyuk and Seohyun and they all began singing Happy Birthday.

“So what did you wish for?” Yonghwa asked looking at Seohyun

“Why would I tell you?”

“Ha!” Hyoyeon interjected “she probably wasted it again for that oppa to notice her”

Tiffany and Yoona’s eyes widened

“Unnie!” Seohyun buried her face using her hands as she began turning crimson red

“Oh ! Our Hyunnie still have that same wish? Tell me who it is and I'll make sure he'll notice you” Yonghwa then moved and sat beside her

“Stop it oppa!”

“Come on! Tell Yong oppa about that special guy who managed to claim our Hyunnies heart!”

“No!” she squealed as she continued hiding

“Why would I tell a bunch of guys about that?” she countered as she looked haughtily as him

Sunny snorted

“That big of a snort does seem like big news” he pushed further

“Not telling you anything!”

They continued to bicker and talked about their activities in the coming days, the what’s in and what’s not in their line of work, who’s dating who and who’s not dating who.

In the middle of their gab fest, Yonghwa excused himself to refill the bowl of nachos that has been ransacked over and over again. As he was transferring the chips little did he know that their maknae followed him

“I told you then and I’ll tell you now, what have you been waiting for?”

He stop midway and looked at him “What are you saying?”

“Seeshh Hyung, you’re not a good actor so spare me that look”

“You’re weird Lee Jungshin”

“And you’re a coward”

“Yah! Outside!”

He shook his head as he followed his hyung. He knew , from the start, in between those girls who his hyung made everyone believed he likes, sometimes love, depending if promotion permits love that is. In between those private gathering, in between those teasings, in between private dinners. In between talks over the phone.

He knew.

Because Jung Yonghwa has this special look that he only give Seo Joohyun. His attentiveness goes overboard by 100% when it comes to her. And no it has nothing to do with him being  nice oppa and yes it has everything to do with that has transpired over WGM.
