✵ Mystics: Magical creatures who are able to control and wield elemental magic. They are divided into four categories according to their main elements which are: Fire, Water, Air and Earth. They also possess the power to control a secondary element but it may be not as strong as their main power. Mystics take their title and positions in the kingdoms very seriously.

✵ Lixerra: High school for mystics. Built on an island called “Coleste”, it is considered a neutral ground where students come from the four kingdoms to learn how to control their magic away from the politics of the monarchy. It is also concealed by magic to protect the students from the wondering eyes of curious humans and has the best magic professors.

Kingdoms

Ruling system: the kingdoms used to be divided, estranged and often at wars. However, three centuries ago a treaty was made, and the ruling system changed. It was agreed upon by the elders of each kingdom that every 50 years a kingdom would get its chance to rule upon the four, and the queen would be chosen by a trial of strength and intelligence. When it’s time for a certain kingdom to choose its queen, sixteen year old girls from the ruling family would compete for that honor and the winner would be crowned the queen of the four kingdoms and would rule for fifty years, until it’s time for another kingdom to take charge.

 Agni: surrounded by volcanoes, and home of the Fire mystics.

Avanindra: a giant forest where the power of earth is at its peak and the next kingdom in the ruling system and Home of the earth mystics.

Glacis: an Island surrounded by the ocean and home of the water mystics.

Halitus: Built on top of a mountain and home of the air mystics.

Underworld: The dark kingdom. Ruled by The Grim Ones who used to be mystics that dabbled into the black arts. They were banned from their kingdoms and forced to retreat to the underworld, where they succumbed to black magic and became half demons half shadows with no access to the elemental magic.

This story is the reboot version of Against all the odds that we deleted and decided to enhance and make a better version out of it. 
There will be weekly updates, the chapters will be long but it'll be worth it, the story line will take time to unfold itself and for the characters (especially the main one) to develop, so hopefully you will be a patient reader and won't rush things out.
