Cats Are Pillars

Description

Kim Yong-Sun has never believed in love, but with eight cats to care for, she is never alone: how could she possibly have time for a man? What is more, all her relationships seem to fail miserably, the most curious thing being that they never make it past the first date at home. Tssss. They just lack courage.

Foreword

“You’ll stay alone forever at this pace, Yong-sun.” Listening half-heartedly to the soft, motherly voice, Yong-Sun hums softly and pretends paying attention to the cacti placed on the inner window sill.

“I’m not looking for love, anyway. Why should it bother me?”

Kim Yong-Sun has turn twenty-seven for a few months, but she does not feel like she is really missing out on something. She may be short and delicate-looking, but her lifestyle is everything she needs and her mother bringing up relationship once again is quite the contrary of what she wants to hear.

“Then I’ll leave you with your children, since it's the only thing you care about.” Yong-sun does not even give a look at her mother as she stands up and bids her goodbye. The older lady is really something, but it is not like she can do anything about it. Then the door is slammed shut. It seems like someone cannot keep their temper.

Yong-sun sighs and a soft, demanding mewing comes from the floor. She bows her head and finds a little ball of white fur, curling and rubbing itself around her ankle, pitilessly crushing her bright yellow slippers, looking at her with piercing blue eyes.

“What do you want?” She asks and squats to caress the head of the animal, which leans into her touch and starts to purr. The cat turns her head to poke the hand of her owner with her pink, small muzzle, then rushes, chased away by another bigger, brown, yowling mass. “Leave her alone!” But the cat is already out of reach.

“What am I going to do with you?” Yong-sun gives up and stands back on her feet, hearing a crash in the room nearby.

But when she reaches the kitchen, it is only to discover the broken remnants of a plate, ravaged by the savages sharing her roof.

With eight cats, how could she even be alone?

Author Note:  I have been told to post something I have already written, so here it is (short and certainly crappy) ! I do not know, I loved the idea of Solar with cats, but I'm not totally sure of the outcome. I think it will be romance, even though I thought of just keeping it a comedy when I wrote this. I am not quite sure of the pairing yet. Also, my English is not the best, so bear with me please. ♥ And sorry for the poor jokes, I cannot help myself. That's it for the long foreword. I hope you enjoy if you read this !

Chapter 18: Wow, Yongsun overlooking the mess her cats created because of her night with Minseok is really something huh, seeing how in the earlier chapters she would get pissed off. Really curious as to why Chanyeol thought badly of Minseok. Hopefully one day Yongsun will get to know Minseok fully. I continue liking how easy it is to read this story. Hope your finals went well!

Chapter 17: Oh my, the situation doesn't seem good... It's a good thing Byul made Chanyeol send Yongsun back home. Their conversation at the end was interesting.

Chapter 16: I really really like seeing Yongsun with her cats. Sometimes pets make a better company than people, albeit them being unable to talk back.

Chapter 15: Is Minseok really this caring? Poor Yongsun though. :(
