“MOM! DAD! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING?”

Sungmin shouts at the top of her lungs. She stares at her parents who are giggling happily while sitting comfortably on the luxurious sofa of their living room. Her eyes are starting to get teary because of anger.

“We’re finding you a soul mate my beautiful princess”  

Donghae told his beautiful daughter, flashing a very bright smile. He is very excited for his daughter’s wedding which will happen next week.

“SOUL MATE? ARE YOU INSANE? WHY THE DO I NEED TO HAVE A SOUL MATE AND—“

Doghae raises his hand to stop his daughter from talking. He frowns at her.

“Sweetheart, language please and stop shouting. Take a deep breath and calm down”

Donghae told his daughter.

“Calm down?”

Sungmin asks, almost crying.

“You want me to calm down? How can I calm down knowing that I’m getting married next week and my husband is just twenty three years old? What the are you doing? What the hell is happening?”

Sungmin asks her parents. She still can’t believe that her parents will set her up in a marriage without even consulting her. Donghae opens his mouth to speak, but his wife stops him.

“Shhhh, let me handle this darling”

She whispers to her husband. Donghae sighs and nods his head.

“Hyukkie, your daughter is really hardheaded”

Donghae told his wife.

“Just don’t argue with her. Let me talk to her”

Hyuk Jae told her husband, smiling at him. She stands up and moves towards her daughter who is about to cry because of anger.

“Sweetheart…”

Hyuk Jae smiles at Sungmin.

“Your dad and I love you so much. We always want the best for you”

Hyuk Jae told her daughter.

“Do you think marrying a twenty three year old boy is the best for me? Mom, please, I rea—“

Hyuk Jae presses a finger on her daughter’s perfect m shape lips to stop her from talking.

“Shhhh, please be quiet and listen to me”

Hyuk Jae told her daughter. She smiles at her and holds her beautiful face between her hands.

“Kyu is the perfect guy for you. I’m sure that you’re going to love him. You guys are going to love each other and you will live together happily and will have cute babies and happy family”

Hyuk Jae told her daughter happily.

“How can I marry someone whom I haven’t even met yet? Please stop being insane mom”

Sungmin told her mother. Hyuk Jae sighs.

“YAH! LEE SUNGMIN!”

Hyuk Jae raises her voice, frowning at her daughter.

“You can’t go against me and your dad. You should follow because we’re your parents and we know what is the best for you”

Hyuk Jae told her daughter. Sungmin just frowns at her.

“Sweetheart…”

Hyuk Jae takes a deep breath.

“Your dad and I are just worried about you. It seems that you already give up on love ever since you and Siwon broke up. We’re just worried that you will grow old alone. Your dad and I don’t want that to happen. We want to have cute grandchildren”

Hyuk Jae told her daughter. Donghae nods his head, agreeing with his wife.

“I’m just twenty eight years old mom. Why are you guys in a hurry? I still have time to—“

“No, you don’t have time”

Hyuk Jae told her daughter.

“You’re at the right age to get married and I’m telling you sweetheart, if you miss this opportunity that your dad and I are giving you, you will grow old alone and you can never find a husband anymore. Twenty eight is not bad for marriage. You need to get married soon and have cute babies ok”

“But mom…”

“No more buts Lee Sungmin. You’re going to meet your future husband tomorrow whether you like it or not, understood?”

Hyuk Jae asks. Sungmin just stares at her.

“Am I talking to a mute? I’m asking you Lee Sungmin, you—“

“ALRIGHT!”

Sungmin raises her voice, feeling irritated.

“Do whatever you want to do! You and dad never listen to me!”

Sungmin told her mother, frowning so hard.

“Sweetheart, it’s going to be alright. Trust me and your dad. Kyu is the best man for you. I’m sure that he will be a good husband for you. You’ll be alright with him”

Hyuk Jae told her daughter. She smiles at Sungmin and happily pats her cheek.
