The story is about a girl called Joy who was having a hard teenage period crisis when she suddenly got a break out on her face. She's going through it while having a low self-esteem. It felt like a lonely war for her as her low confidence is blocking her sociaal skills. 

There is also a boy in her class name Ho Seok who always made jokes and being funny around her. Seeing him made her felt stronger and couraged to be more positive about life. 

So Hye is Joy's seatmate in the class that also one of people she comfortable to talk with.
