“She got her phone taken away again,” Jongin recounted the knowledge of the situation to Kyungsoo. “But I don’t know much more than that. She looked miserable.”
Kyungsoo kind of grunted in acknowledgement, mainly because he looked too tired to respond in any other way. Jongin was convinced that he was half asleep. But Kyungsoo proved him wrong, “What’s new?”
“She asked if we could leave the company and do it better on our own.”
Kyungsoo lifted his head, “She wants to start her own company.”
“Is it even possible?”
“Possible, yes. Probable, maybe. Would she run into problems? Undoubtedly.”
“I told her she was crazy.” Jongin looked down at his hands. Now that he thought about it, he probably crushed one of her last shreds of hope.
“She is, but we knew that.” Kyungsoo’s voice was nonchalant. “But the idea might be able to be pulled off. Didn’t you mention something about Taemin?”
“Oh yeah, his contract is expiring in two weeks. Pretty sure he’s going to leave the company,” Jongin waved away the idea until he realized what Kyungsoo was implying. “You don’t mean to take him, do you?”
“You have someone who is trained, and well-trained at that. And then Chaeyeon knows what she’s doing and has some connections. You can come up with a choreography, and it would be possible to ask Chanyeol for music,” Kyungsoo hummed over his mug of tea,
