Jongin woke up to no new texts from Chaeyeon. The sleep had taken over way too fast the night before, and he had fallen asleep before she probably would have reached the house. He sent a quick text to Kyungsoo, who said that no, Chaeyeon hadn’t texted him either.
Jongin: did you get home
Chaeyeon was usually really good about responding, and she would have been up since she didn’t drink enough to get drunk. Only a little tipsy.
Usually, the three of them would do their weekend brunch today. But since they had graduated, Chaeyeon wasn’t able to come, so it had just been Jongin and Kyungsoo.
He quickly gets dressed before brushing his teeth and jumping in the shower. He checked his phone before shoving it in his back pocket with a frown. Still, no new messages. Something about the situation didn’t feel right.
And thirty minutes later, he could see that Kyungsoo didn’t like the situation either. He ended up texting his parents, asking if they were hanging out with Chaeyeon’s parents later. It turned out that the three pairs of parents were at brunch.
“Wait, did Chaeyeon even reach her house last night?” Jongin repeated the question, making Kyungsoo purse his lips.
