Jeon Somi has been known as an outcast her entire life. She has already transferred to 3 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and 3 high schools. She finally settles in the prestigious IOI Academy, an all girls academy that is very strict with education. She is placed as Rank 50 on her first week, but makes a tremendous move on her second week, taking away Rank 1 from Kim Sejeong, who is now Rank 2, joining the Top 11.

Ever since then, Somi has been the talk of the school. One day, Sejeong begins to take interest in Somi and invites her to join lunch with the other students from the Top 11. Somi at first does not get along with the others, but slowly starts to open up to them. One of the most important exams, the IOI Exam, aka the Intelligent Or Idiotic Exam has come to take place at the IOI Academy. As expected, Somi ends up being Rank 1 and the others are still in their original spots. Except for Sejeong. Sejeong drops down to Rank 26, which is unexpected, but would make sense since she had spent a lot of time with Somi and the others lately.

The new Rank 2, Heo Chanmi accuses Somi and tells Sejeong that she might be the one who made her Rank drop down so that Sejeong wouldn't steal Rank 1 from Somi. Of course, Sejeong doesn't believe at Chanmi at first, but slowly starts to consider it and eventually agrees with Chanmi. Somi is heartbroken by Sejeong's decision and swears to prove herself innocent. The others however, are split up and take either Somi's side or Sejeong's side. There will be a lot of consequences in this story. Will Somi prove herself innocent on time or will she lose one of her best friend's trust and love?
