∞ INFINITE ENT ∞ 「 HIRING MIXERS AND ACCEPTING TRAINEES! 」BANG + DOWNPOUR opened! KO KO BOP IS OUT!

Description

We present to you, a new AFF based entertainment,

infiniteentertainment

ABOUT US

INFINITE ENTERTAINMENT was founded in July 2017 by Lao. It is a non-profit online company which will bring you nothing but joy. We will be making covers of K-POP songs so everyone who's into singing, or rapping, may feel free to join us. We'd be really happy to work with you. Because we're still a really young company, we are in need of staff positions and at our very beginning, we will be accepting all trainees. If you'd like to apply for staff positions, fill out this application form. If you want to train under our entertainment, fill out this application form. Comment after applying!

RULES

1) If you're applying, subscribe to this thread. You'll need to be updated on all activities.

2) Leave comments on new releases.

3) Be open to constructive criticism.

4) Turn your parts in by the deadline.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

You can be a part of other entertainment companies, it doesn't change your status here. All that matters is that you're active here as well. Another thing is that we will be debuting a new group every four months. Who will be chosen to debut? Well, the trainees who applied to most open calls, and trainees who followed the rules very well, and in some cases, the trainees who seem to suit the planned concept for the group. Every group will have a different concept and a certain type of songs to cover. For example, one group may end up covering all of Red Velvet's songs, another group may end up covering all of cute girl group songs, while the third group may cover songs with badass concepts from both boy groups and girl groups, and there will definitely be a group that will cover songs only by rookies. However, if you end up in a group, you will not be able to apply for open calls anymore, as you will have your special schedule. There will be many other ways to decide group members, but those should stay a secret for now, it wouldn't be fun if I gave everything away right now, right? I will write more about groups when the time comes.

We will also be holding special events for debut anniversaries of K-POP groups. Also, there will be events for anniversaries of hit-song releases, so please look forward to that as well!

Chapter 4: Comments are written according to the order of "appearance".

I feel that Koemi's range doesn't fit KOKOBOP which is a shame because I've listened to one of her covers and her voice sounded very pleasant. Even I found KOKOBOP to be too low for my voice tbh. The "hm hmm" was flat and although she stayed on pitch for most of her first verse, there were times when her notes went flat. But I think that her voice possessed the right attitude to deliver the lines! The "awoo" was on point and I appreciate how she added her own stylistic approach to it. As expected, she did very well at hitting the higher notes! Her lines in the second chorus were sung in a similar style with the original and she assimilated her voice well into that particular style and it amazed me at how correct all the details are. "Rideume onmomeul" and "matgigo soricheo" were done nicely. I think that the "oh oh oh" in the last chorus showcased a different side of her voice.

Yumi did her first verse very well! I loved the hint of sass in her voice and the way she sang the lines using her own style. She tends to drawl her last syllables a lot and then halt the notes abruptly--I noticed this when I listened to her lines in the first chorus. I'm taking it as her stylistic singing. Listening to her lines in the bridge made her singing style more apparent. Her "bameun gipeodo" especially is probably my favourite part. However, I did find the drawling to be a bit odd. I loved the "down down baby" part. I think that she really got the soft with sass sound down.

April sounds very adorable with the "awoo" and I found myself cooing while listening to it hahaha. I found it to be a bit monotone tho. I noticed the struggle to hit the notes (don't worry; this is a boy group song so it's highly likely that most girls don't find comfort while singing along to it) in the first verse but if I'm not mistaken, she missed none of them. The background voice adds a very nice touch to the line that comes after the first chorus. Kinda like making it sounding softer and...dreamier? The lines in the second last chorus seemed to be a bit unstable? I heard the voice wavering a bit.

Yuexiao delivered her first verse nicely and her tone fit right into the song's vibe. I could literally "see" and feel her voice "chilling". The "oh oh oh" in the first chorus was nicely done. Again, it was carried out with the right attitude and tone. Good job at hitting the low notes in these "ginjanghaji malgo dagawa Yeah yeah
ni modeun geol naege matgyeo bwa Yeah yeah" lines! Throaty and with tension, but she was able to hit them.

Whoa, I'm actually pleasantly surprised that Kida is able to hit the low notes with ease! Not hitting the low "yeah yeah" is a good choice. It's also cool that she recorded all of her harmonies--I mean, I won't even be able to figure out all of them lmao. Ah, I'm not so sure about the first Sehun verse since I don't know much about rapping :') But I do feel like her voice carried the right feel for it!

Oh my, Dae's rap is a mixture of sass + badass + adorable. I'm not sure about the pronunciation but I really like the way she exerted some force on certain syllables. I really want to comment more but my limited knowledge and exposure to rapping doesn’t allow me to :(

Amazing chorus right there from Mei! Attitude, check, precision, check, power check. It's everything that needs to be in kokobop. The "majimak bamiya" and "dulmane bamiya" lines were sung differently from the original. I mean, that's a pretty smart way of blending in your lines into the song without forcing your voice to reach notes that are out of your comfort zone. The "rideume onmomeul" was lacking the power, in my opinion but the good "oh oh oh" makes up for it so thumbs up! Oh wow, that shock she brought me when I listened to the bridge! I'd never expect her to hit notes as low as those but she did it! It was obviously not achieved easily, but she did okay.

I actually thought a lot about posting this because I’m afraid that my words will discourage some people from taking parts in the covering community. I don’t intend to put anyone down and if any of the sentences sound as if I am, please let me know and I’ll gladly take this comment down and apologize to you. If this type of comment is not allowed, I promise that I won’t post anything like it anymore :)

Btw I’m not a professional singer and I’ve never been formally trained. These are all my personal opinions and there’s a big chance that all (or most)) of the technical stuff are inaccurate so please take them with a grain of salt.

Chapter 4: I think everyone did really well in the collab, sorry for it being so late.

April you sound so much like Xiumin in this with the timbre and lightness. He's my bias and I love your voice so it's a win win situation ❤️
Overall everyone did a good job and the mixing was good as well!
