JUST A STORYUPDATE GUYS !!!
When Jessica woke up the next morning, she was still wearing yesterday’s denim capris and knit top. She rolled over and hugged her pillow. Something wasn’t right. This wasn’t the hospital. She was in the strange place. It felt different, smelled different. She sat up and looked around the room. It’s someone’s bedroom. Slowly the details clicked into place. This was where the man Taeyang lived- the man who claimed to be her husband. He had insisted it was her home, too, but she didn’t really believe him. He said a lot of things that she just let fly over her head because they made no sense to her.
She swung her legs off the bed and planted her feet on the cold, hardwood floor. She drew her feet back up, curling her toes. There was something she was supposed to do today. Someplace she was supposed to go.
The hospital! Of course! They were helping her to read and write again, and get her strength back. It was a good place. Except for scattered memories of her life in Michigan with her parents, her only memories were of the hospital and her new friends there the doctors, nurses, technicians, and therapists.
And then there was Taeyang. He was always hanging around.
She got up and went to the bathroom. The flat iron and curling iron were still there on the counter. She stared at herself in to the mirror. No matter how many times she looked at her reflection, she was always surprised to see someone she didn’t recognize. She run her fingers through her long auburn brown hair. Maybe no one would notice that a clump of hair was missing.
She ambled out to the kitchen where Taeyang or Taeyeon or whoever was standing at the stove, cooking something. He looked at her and smiled. “Good morning, sleepyhead. I was wondering if I was going to have to come wake you up. You’ve got to be at the hospital in an hour.”
“I’m ready,” she said.
He laughed. “I don’t think so. Did you sleep in those clothes?”
She nodded.
“You have nightgowns and pajamas in the drawer.”
